7/4 Condo

Good morning! Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July and had some celebration time! Looking good this morning, cleared that bounce rather quickly I think! Thanks Carla and Sheila for stopping by and the kind words and hope for a good 'vacation'.

Travel day today. Nervous (a little bit) but hopefully we've planned things good enough that we won't have trouble. I don't think there's anything else we can put in the vehicle for him! :lol: :lol: Toys, litter box, his own suitcase full of stuff, insulin, needles, test strips, blankies - and the list goes on. DH looked at the pile and said 'you've packed more for him than you have for us! We're only going to be gone 2-1/2 days!!!' :lol: :roll:

I'm taking the laptop so I can keep his SS up and I'll post as I can. Hope everyone has a great weekend, great numbers, safe surfs and sending healing vines to those that need them.

Just read an article which suggested taking some of the home water to reduce GI upsets.

Hey, you can pack a couple more things in the car. Traveling with a kitty is just like traveling with a young baby. You need to take lots of specialized stuff. ;-)

Thanks ladies, we have arrived and everything went smoothly! He meowed 'cried' for about 10 minutes then settled down - he was absolutely fabulous!!! Didn't eat though and we stopped for a bit to see if he would. Once we got here to the hotel, he ate his fill. Didn't want me to test him yet, so I'll hold off until his PS. He's been too busy searching every nook and corner of this place. Thanks for all the well wishes, I think we'll be ok!! I'm thrilled! Yea - a vacation and I don't have to worry about him as I have him with me. Life could not be better!

Glad to hear the trip went smoothly. Scratchie checking out his new 'temporary' quarters. Hope he settles down for testing later.
 
Hi Jo,

Maybe I should go on vacation more often. Boy what a run of numbers you have had! But he cleared the bounce quickly. Loved the numbers on the 5th.

I'll be in touch when you get home. It may be that he might need to go to a skinny 3 and see what he does with it for a week or so.
