Good Morning, Everyone,

Rusty is feeling better this morning. We had a good test and shot and he was eager for breakfast (2 sittings). He was sitting by the back door, surveying the scene, but when I opened it for him to go out, he didn't want to. We played very briefly and then he decided to take a nap. So I guess he's still not 100%. The hairball still hasn't materialized, but he was working on getting it out this morning--very early. I'm pretty sure that's what is bothering him.

Today I have to make a batch of gingersnaps for the picnic tomorrow on the St. Lawrence River. Weather forecast is for 70% rain and thunderstorms. I hope the weather over there will be better!!

It is good to hear that Rusty is feeling better! Nice numbers to start your day too. I am always amazed when they get up a hair ball how big it is. I would feel bad too if I had that stuck in me and couldn't get it out.

Gingersnaps sound wonderful. Hope the weather holds for your picnic and you have a great time!

I am glad that Rusty is beginning to feel better. darn hairballs! out out out! He does have a nice amps though. Rusty?: no outside for you?? I bet Shadow is waiting for you to come and play....

Hi again,
I don't know where the 147 came from (retested and got 153!). I didn't think I gave a fur shot this morning. Rusty has been eating normally today, but we're still waiting on the hairball (and on today's poop). When I brushed him it bothered him to have me brush on the sides of his belly. In any event, he ate all of his Wellness lunch and is now sitting in the porch window. He's a little irritable. We will keep watching him.

I'm about to take Edward to the chiropractor and then make the gingersnaps. Got out on my bike for a short ride this morning.

Oh Rusty you're supposed to be going the other way, not higher!!!

I hope the hairball makes an appearance soon and Rusty is on his way to feeling better.

Poor Rusty!!!! I hope it gets rid of the foreign object so he can get on with finding better numbers!!

Very strange afternoon. Rusty slept most of it. He was asleep when I wanted to test him at +9, so I let him sleep. Then, at +10, he came running to the test site, and he tested at 117! It's almost as if he wanted us to know that his number had come down. PMPS was back up to 143 and Rusty went back to sleep after eating most of his Wellness turkey dinner. I don't know what's going on. He's under the weather, possibly because he has a hairball that needs to be got rid of. Possibly it's the weather itself: warm and humid today. If he doesn't seem better by tomorrow we may skip the picnic on the St. Lawrence and take him to the new vet.

Poor Rusty is clogged up!! I put a little olive oil in her food for years now, supposedly hairballs go out the way they should from the lubrication..Just a thought--Hope Rusty feels all better by tonite!!
Moonie can cook a hairball for 3 days--Hope Rustman gets his out soon!

I'm sorry Ella - I hope things turn around for him. Maybe it's just the hot humid weather... I know mine are all sleeping more now that we have gotten warmer, and eating less. Still doesn't explain the higher BG though. :? Be better Rusty!

Hi Ella, a little feline named Moonie told me Rusty is not feeling too well. I hope it is just a hairball and not anything else. Maggie was under the weather yesterday but is now better, so hope the same happens with Rusty.

Rusty, the KTSS and crew are on their way with some chickens soup to make you feel better.

Sorry to hear Rusty doesn't feel well today and is off. These numbers sure don't look like Rusty numbers!!! I hear the kits are coming with KTSS!!

Hi again, Everyone,

Thank you KTSS for visiting this evening. Rusty is definitely feeling better and has his best number of the day--GREEN, even! That chicken soup really works! Rusty ate his FF treat with gusto tonight, but I'm not so sure that he likes the drop of olive oil I put into his Wellness turkey. (he may eat it later). I put some vaseline on his paw, as was suggested by Natalia, I think, and he did lick some of it off, but then slid on the steps as he rushed upstairs for his bedtime food!! At least he has some energy tonight.

p.s. to Tobey, master masseuse: Hope you liked your surprise gingersnap. It's got lots of "cinnamamum" in it, because I know you like it. Thank you for helping Rusty!

Auntie Ellabean......that was WONDERFUL!!! I LOVED it!!!! Gingersnap just for me, Tobey!!! The cimmamun was GREAT...I do love it!! Thank you for the extra snuggles. Gracie gots all the attention at our house today and I needed some snuggles!!! I am the youngest, you know! Lub you!!
