Funny how fireworks and thunderstorms etc. affect different cats. Logan hides behind the furnace
in the basement, Chloe acts a bit nervous (when she arrived the TV scared her). Simon & Justice
just yawn and go back to sleep :lol:

Good morning! Hope Musette comes down for you! Tarragon is terrified of anything that makes noise - thunderstorms, plastic bags, fireworks. I don't even bother checking his BG levels when any of that is going on because I know it will be sky high!

Hooray for that nice AMPS despite the fireworks! Hopefully your neighbors shot all their fireworks and things will be quite until next year!!

I certanily hope so, the street in front of our house is covered in spent fireworks, they went until 4am this morning...but it is now illegal to shoot them off, so.....if it isn't quiet tonight I may be calling them in. It was appalling last night, I got up t go check because some of the flashes looked really close, there were 4-5 kids between the ages of 5-9 setting off, BIG fireworks in the street after 10pm without an adult anywhere in sight....some people just amaze me, I didn't even let my own kids shoot off anything bigger than a glow snake by themselves until they were well into their preteens. These kids were little bitties.

Crossing my fingers and paws that Musette will finally experience some peace and quiet -- well, as much peace and quiet as she can get with all her new brothers and sistas around!

LOL actually I think they are praying for some peace and quiet from HER....lol. The fireworks were making her grumpy and she was taking it out on them. Poor Maxwell and Lady Jane weren't even allowed on the bed until mom and dad went to bed...Musette was grumpy and didn't care if they had lived there first, it was her bed, all of it, and she let them know loudly that she wasn't sharing. Just went in to check on them and they are all sleeping peacefully together. Musette even decided to be nice and share her pokie treats with them. So Progess I guess...lol

Well no green so far but I really can't complain about that nice long blue surf. Especially that very nice +6 when she was just fed at +4. It will be interesting to see where she goes the rest of this week now that the world has stpped exploding around her.
