Hello @Suzanne & Darcy . Thank you for checking on us! I am currently traveling for work and come back Thursday and I will update mijo’s chart. My family is currently checking and administering for mijo.
I had to try something and that is why I took the reduction to 0.5. He was bouncing nearly everyday. I think I made the correct move. He is getting down in the greens now so it seems like he is getting plenty insulin. However, he did have a large bounce that last 2+ days even on the low 0.5. He came out of it today but he had a long slow curve and was still coming down tonight at +7 at around 110. We will be shooting lower tonight and my family will give the higher carb to make sure he don’t go low and hopefully somehow stop him from bouncing again.
When he comes out of a bounce his curve can be very wierd sometimes and it is this very long slow curve and he is still coming down around his PMPS which can be scary. I almost think he needs another reduction. It almost seems like he is getting too much insulin…
