Morning, is it Tuesday! We had fireworks, but it didn't seem to bother Maggie. They were in the distance which helped. Maggie Manx seems to feel better after going back on the Wellness Chicken. There is something about the turkey flavor fuds that cause an upset tummy, strange! I hope I'm not missing some low #'s when I'm sleeping. I have such erratic sleep that when I do fall asleep, it's a real deep sleep. I heard Maggie talking last night and wasn't able to get up, and looking at the pole toy strung across the floor, I'm assuming she wanted a play date :) All other P's in place, and I'm thankful she's so demanding with play time, as it means she's feeling good. Glad the new food variety is working out for Maggie.

And yay on wanting to play.....that's a very good sign.

I am glad that she likes the wellness chicken. Mannie got that this morning too, he wasn't so sure that is what he wanted, but ate it anyways... It is interesting on the turkey flavor and Maggie - one would think that turkey is one of the more "mild" low key foods out there. ??

And yes on the play time - it is so nice that she wants to play. I drug out ours the other day - Mannie just looked at me with that "you're kidding, right?" look, and wandered off to better things. shessh!

+8 109 -- I think Maggie is low from not eating!

Hi Lisa, Michelle, Melissa, MauiGuppy, & Tena. Thanks for all your visits. Well, I think the jury may still be out on the Wellness Chicken. Maggie didn't eat much while I was gone. When I returned, she asked for some fresh food, and she just seemed to try and get the juices from the Wellness. It's not very brothy and more pasty, even though I add water. I think I may have to break out some FF, but which one that won't raise her bg?

That's a pretty nice surf Maggie has going on. I'm sorry she isn't eating for you.
I don't know if you've tried FF Classic Chicken Feast, but that's all I feed Tommy and it doesn't mess with his BG's at all, but of course we all know ECID!!

Hi Squirrel, thanks; that's the one I'm thinking of trying for Maggie, maybe mixed in with the Wellness to give it more juice. The Wellness is a pasty like texture.

Now that's a lovely nice day for Miss Maggie!!! Moonie loves those numbers, 90's 80's she is happy!
Moonie is an FF fan & so was her brother Copper--They ate it since I had them...

+3 138 Change in food from Wellness Chicken to FF Chicken Feast caused minor spike!

Hi Roni, well the FF Chicken Feast was a hit with Magie, and she's happy. She cleaned the plate. She just was not crazy about the Wellness chicken. At first she liked it, but then it was a no no. That's nice to know both Moonie and Copper were fans of FF.

Bummer on the food spike! She sure is sensitive to carbs isn't she? Do you have access to Merrick Foods? they have BG line that is 1-2% carbs: basic flavors like chicken, turkey, beef, salmon, tuna, and one other I can't remember. Mannie likes them OK, especially the salmon one. Maggie doesn't eat fish though, does she? well - good luck with the foods.....

Maggie!! It's true - Rusty needs us!! KTSS is on an emergency, well sorta emergency, call - we can pull this off - I know we can. I gots the soup all ready - should I picks you up? ~~ Mannie
 
Hi Michelle, yes bummer on the spike, but hopefully it is just the change in food that is causing the spike. She is extremely sensitive to carbs. I was lucky with that dental scare and her drop, I was able to use the carbs to bring her up safely.

Hey Mannie, yes count me in on visiting Rusty. I'll help make the soup, and yes, please picks me up, thanks, Maggie

Sorry I missed that Maggie was a bit under the weather yesterday too. I've been missing lots and feel bad. Glad to hear she's doing better today. Sending belated hugs.
