I'm hoping, a couple more days at the higher dose, will get him back down where he should be.

I still have no clue what happened a couple days ago, but I am inclined to believe it was a screw up on my part, so I am doing whatever it takes to get him back down into safe numbers.

He is being so obstinate today, 3 different kinds of food and he wants none of them. Finally gave him some tuna for a treat. Got to cook the turkey for him, later tonight when it's not so hot.

I know, overall, he is much better than he was when DX'd. He has put the weight back on, his fur is thicker, shines and not dry and flaky anymore. He is back to his normal self, cuddly but a pita when he wants something, very vocal, which he wasn't for months. All in all, he is back to his normal personality and appearance. Now if I could just get his BG's under control..........

As hard as he is to deal with, he SEEMS fine, which is why I don't consider the 'alternative'. If he was sick and miserable, it would be different, I wouldn't let him suffer. But other than his BG's he is his normal self again, so I keep up the fight.

I really need to change his pic, he looks so much better now. Of course he's still bow legged, has been all his life, he's my bull dog! :lol:

He's slowly coming down the last couple cycles, hopefully, in a couple days, he'll be at a safe level again.

Hoping that +2 is just overlap and not a fur shot. Will test again in a couple hrs.
