Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (Elsa! Help! DGS fuel needed, please!), HAPPY FURDAY everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug, founders of Paw Prints Pizza, are in a deep sleep.... seems they worked very hard yesterday making all those weird holiday pizzas. They keep mumbling in their sleep "more! we need More!" and then the paws start kneading... They are all covered in red and blue splotches too! I tolds them that the food coloring probably wasn't a good idea. heeheehee.... so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all his fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle...... OH! No worries, a dollop of chocolate curls, and apple swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel drizzle. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! SWEET! AND!!! It is a go! We will have, for sure, TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts! Lola and Bug are helping!

I hope everyone had a nice holiday! BBQ's, family gatherings, potato salad, time with friends, maybe an adventure or two. :-D :razz: It really was rather low keyed here. The morning was so quiet that I decided to head on out early and take my usual woods to the shore hike. It was a good choice, as there really weren't too many people there. Now when I left they were coming in in mass.... :shock: SO many people! Of course by then the sun was out, and i was really nice down there. The tide was out too, so I was able to walk some distance. There was this guy there that was exercising his dog. He was walking the beach, the dog was swimming in the sound, about 10 /15 yards out. He was tossing him sticks etc to keep him out there, chasing down what he had thrown. The dog ended up swimming about a mile. I thought omg, that poor dog, I hope he can handle that. OH HAHA! After the mile the dog bounds out of the water, jumps on the man and plays in the sand. no worries I guess. That pup had obviously done that many times before. :cool: :cool: I took just a few photos while there, so here you go: more Meadowdale

All the kitties were confined to quarters yesterday, including Elsa, as I just wasn't too sure how well Lola and Bug would take to all the BOOM BOOM going on n the neighborhood. Lola and Bug really do not have outdoor access yet anyways, but I still worried about them. I know Bug and Elsa do not like loud noises so in they stayed. Funny thing was that they slept through almost all of it! Go figure.... Perhaps they knew they were home safe, so no worries for them. We had a whole bunch of small birds visit the feeders yesterday afternoon. All three members of the Three Musketeers were all lined up at the food watching the birds. The heads moved in unison, the tails thumped a good beat, and those whiskers! I kept thinking if they twitch them any harder they're going to fall out. :shock: :lol: Sure was fun to watch. Have a great day everyone! I have Nicholas today, so it will be a busy one. We will be swimming, and then there is no doubt that he will want to go berry hunting. again. :lol: He sure does love those berries fresh off of the vine. It is kinda fun. No doubt I will have to promise to keep Bear safe once again. :cool:

I'm glad that you had a wonderful day yesterday, relaxing on your hike. I always enjoy early mornings, too, especially here on our 3 acres. It's so quiet, and occasionally you can hear a coyote off in the distance, and birds, etc. I hope that you have a wonderful day today. :YMHUG:
 
Morning Angela ~O) ~O) ~O) Morning are ice, aren't they? I like being able to walk to these places her at home, see the critters that are out in the morning. Very peaceful. THX on today. Me and Nicholas - always a fun time.
 
Morning Michelle, early mornings are also my favorite part of the day. My other apartment I used to take early beach walks with some other early birder walkers, too.
Elsa, you little sweetie, can't wait for my Double Espresso drinks and TJ cookies and kronuts. thanks you.
Sounds like a nice quiet day for you for a change. I bet it was neat watching the dog swim and play with its owner. It does sound like it's a normal routine for the dog. I bet he sleeps well after that swim/play.
Love the pics of the dog an Meadowdale and so cute with the Three Muskateers. That Lola bares all when she sleeps! :lol: She is everywhere. Bug and Mags look like they could be siblings with their markings.

me too on the early morning walks. I like those the best. There is nothing to compare to the first light of day. Those beach walks of yours sound good. I am sure they are - our beaches here are much different, very rocky etc, but I do love being there first off, seeing the light begin to work it wonders on it all. Wonderful times. Yes on that dog! It was fun - that guy has such fun with him, The dog is quite the swimmer. THX too on the pics, and yes on Lola! she sleeps like that alot, this was one of the first times I have been able to get a photo of it all. :lol: I think so too on Bug and Maggie - the markings and the coloring. very lose indeed! THX on today - will do! A BIG YES on Bear!!!!! safety first on that one! :lol:

I like your early morning, mostly to yourself, beach walk. There are always such nice treasures to be found when the tide is out. Me too, i bet that dog slept a bunch when he got home. Your three kids are sooooo cute. Their faces are so expressive, i can almost hear them talking to you. Have a berry berry fun today with Nicholas. I'll be anxious to hear what he thought of the fireworks.

Wheeeeee Elsa LIl Bit. double shot Cappuccinos with extra foam.. fun! My cronut and dunkin cookies are going to taste wonderful with this! May i also please have a mocha? I can't pass those up. I think the dutch apple and fudge is calling to me this morning.

Wow, Lola and Bug.... you look a little goofy this morning. You look almost as goofy as me when my mom makes me wear that hat with the ears. :lol: :lol: I think we'd better get you sprayed down and looking like yerselves again. Then let's do some sliding....er....cleaning and get this place back to spotless!! I took a picture of you guys yesterday.. here it is

So glad the kitties had no problems with the booms yesterday. My kitties did good too. The booms were not as bad as usual, one reason to be thankful for rain :-D

Your morning walks always look so peaceful. Your Nicholas walks are definitely more exciting!

The LWP is back to being white, mostly. :? Still a little pink under her chin. The bean was threatening a bath, so I think she stayed up and groomed all night! -- Tess
 
HI everyone! Happy Friday afternoon!!! Nicholas and I have just returned from the pool, and out inevitable berry hunting. He did really well today considering how really tired he was. He and mom and dad and William were up very late last night watching the fireworks. Nicholas told me they were HUGE and NOISY and lots of BOOMS and very pretty colors. Guess he was impressed! Apparently last night William had "one of those nights", was fussy fron 1-4AM (poor DD!). Nicholas told me at least 4 dozen times that "it was dark in my room and I wokes up and William was crying in the other room. He cries alot! I helped mommy! and thens I went back to sleep". awwwwww.... anywyas - it was a long night for him, so I was surprised when we put in 2 hours at the pool. He has resigned himself that the big pool is closed for now, and that soon he can go back there. We made good use of the water slides and the cannons today, and had a great time. Beery hunting was a big hit, lots still be be picked. Another surprise that he still wanted to go, but not too surprised when He told me halfway through that he was sleepy and wanted to go back. well duh, little guy. You should be! ;-) I hadn't buckled the seat buckles yet when I noticed he has crashed. Yes, one very tired little boy.....

Hi Mary :-D :-D oh HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA on the photo of Lola and Bug - yupp! that do be them! looks just like how they looked this morning. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: -- oh yes on the early morning beach walk - I love those. We get eagles here too, and the only time one can find them actually on the beach is at first light. What a treat to go there and find them fishing the sound. OH yes on that dog. I am so sure he did.THX on the three furkids photos. They faces are all so individual,, expressive too. One can almost see the thoughts behind the looks. ;-) THX on today - we had a blast! Nicholas liked the fireworks. NOISY and HUGE were the words he used the most. He had alot of fun.

Hi Jane :-D :-D Me too on the kitties. I was so relieved. They were a little antsy when the huge BOOMS went off, but overall they did well with them. OH yes on the walks: mine - quiet, reflective, Nicholas: mega crazy, busy, exciting. Fitting I think. Nicholas really does love to be outdoors. many thanks: today was fun!

Hi Ann :-D :-D LOL, and yes it was. I have always been an early bird. for work, and for all those crack of dawn deck calls for the boys when they swam swim team: alot of years there. Yes, we did have fun at the pool, a given I think, He loves the time there. Berries too! It's been an added perk to all out outdoor time. Now on any outing we have to look for berries. ;-) :cool:

It sounds like you had fun at the pool and berry hunting before Nicholas got too tired. That's sweet he was trying to help with William last night.

It's hard work being a big brother! Nicholas is doing great. So glad that you and he got in a good pool session today. And the rest of the berries will still be there (unless the bears get to them first!).

Sorry to be so late visiting you. I thought I would have lots of time today, but it didn't happen. Love those shots of Meadowdale and the ones of the Three Muskateers.
Elsa, we really enjoyed that cappuccino this morning. What a treat! We were tired from the 4th of July, too.

Glad you had fun today and so did Nicholas. Do you ever take to the beach near you? Just wondering if the water is OK for swimming. For other than dogs that is. ;-)

Morning Wendy ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on the photos. They say still long enough to take them :lol: I think you are right on Lola's middle name - that fits! never a dull moment with her. THX on yesterday - it was a good day. Yes on the beach near us, I do take Nicholas there now and then, when we have the time. The water can be swam in, though most don't. Kids play in it all the time. One has to allow for seaweed and an occasional critter, like fish, but it is doable. Nicholas has been in several times, though mostly for wading. Sometimes we will get lukcy and have alot of sand deposited and the seaweed just isn't there. It's a decent beach to play at.
