That's 48 hours in the green! Jenks is still happily cruising around the lagoon.

The 62 is a tad low for my comfort. It doesn't leave a lot of room to move, and there's an entire cycle still ahead.

So I will drag my butt out of bed in three and a half hours or so for spot checks. Stay flat Jenks, that's an order!

Another perfect cycle in the books. That's now 60 hours in the green. Awesome.

OH is back home. That usually means an imminent end to these beautiful numbers. So I'll be watching closely for any signs of drifting, especially now that we're down 4 units a day from just last week.

@Bobbie And Bubba - (responding to last night's condo) That's the weird thing. I don't know how he could've possibly injured his tail. Eating & sleeping hardly constitute risky activities. If he injured it (and that's something we may never know), I assume he either rolled over when it was in a funny position relative to his body, or he tweaked or torqued it while wrestling.

I have felt the entire length of his tail, so I know it's not a fracture. So that probably means it's a nerve issue, because cats apparently have a weird anatomical structure between the base of the spine and the start of the tail where the neurons make very long runs to connect the two , and those can be easily injured. He had a little sensitivity at the tail head when I first discovered it, which seems to point in that direction. That's also why I'm going to re-start him on Zobaline to maximize the chances for successful nerve healing.

I'm still going to call the vet though and see if this is something that necessitates an office visit, or if he'd just recommend home monitoring anyway.

As for the term OH, I agree that it's a good dictionary addition. I think it's a perfect descriptor for all sorts of non-marital relationships, whether significant others, roommates, members of a family unit, etc.

Great couple of days!!!

Yo Jenks....it's about time you followed my good example!! Now let's see how long you can keep it up!! Being a Deputy at the lagoon is hard work you know!! ~ China ;)
