I got up at 4 this morning so I actually got to wake Champ up for once!! I gave him some tuna fish so he could make it until breakfast without bugging me too much. I didn't bother to check his BG because DD did it at 1 a.m., just three hours prior, and it was 130. Of course, in those three hours, he zoomed on up. Let the bounce commence!! ohmygod_smile Test feed shoot went without a hitch as usual and Champ is in the process of commencing his morning window-gazing. He has to keep tabs on the birdies!!

And now it's back to the work grind! I hope everyone has a great day!!! :-D

Except for human tuna, Checks doesn't love anything that much :roll:

That's incredible: 1) BG zooming up so much within 3 hours and 2) a human waking up a cat instead of the other way around? Unheard of! :-)

Well, it looks like Champ has decided to listen to all of you!!!! Let's just hope the fast drop doesn't set him up for continued bouncing. I weighed him today and was horrified to see he now weighs 18.5 pounds. That's a gain of three pounds since his diagnosis, though still less than the 21.5 pounds he weighed before developing FD. He and I both are going to have to learn to like being hungry. I sometimes lose track of how much and what time I've fed him so I'll need to keep better records. I'm going to cut his food intake again, even smaller meals so I can still feed him multiple times. This bites!!! I hate to hear him cry for food!!! Oh well...we're both on diets healthy eating plans starting now!!!

I gave Champ 1/2 tsp 13% at +5 and +6 to stop the descent. We'll see if it worked. At least DD is here to poke so I can work!!

Yowzaaaa!! What a drop in deed Champ! That's far enough ok... Goodness Patty, what another crazy day for you. Those sure are nice looking afternoon numbers though.

WOW! Quite the day you've had! What a drop at that +3 - guess Champ was in a hurry to get back to those wonderful greens. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Good luck with the weight thing. Mannie needs to shed a couple of pounds too... Just don't know how I can cut out any more. what a battle the weight thing is... I wish you luck!

Well, one thing can be said of Mr. Champ...he's seldom boring!! :lol: :lol: I'm so happy for you that he's in better numbers but really feel for you when he shoots up and then drops. He's very flexible for a guy who needs to shed a few lbs. Have a good night Patty. Champ, let Mommy sleep!
