Hi everyone,

Bear is doing really well with his diabetes! We are still waiting for results from the vet for what is happening with his kidney and liver. We took him paddleboarding this weekend. I'll post pictures in the comments

I'm assuming I should just keep him trucking on the 2 units?

As Bear dropped under 50, he has earned a reduction in dose down to 1.75 U.

Thank you! @tiffmaxee suggested waiting until 3 drops under 50 to reduce. This would be his second. Do you think I should still reduce or wait for one more?

I love the photos. What a legend! He is an amazing cat. Moat cats don't like water.

@tiffmaxee suggested waiting until 3 drops under 50 to reduce. This would be his second. Do you think I should still reduce or wait for one more?

He is still under 1 year since diagnosis.
Was that because he was not holding reductions well? If so, go with what Elise recommended.

If Elise thought that he would do better on 3 drops under 50 before reducing, then follow that advice. Elise has been looking after you much more lately than I have.
