Uhm....I am not a doggie person..... Lord help me I don't know which is worse...trying to get a ketone test or waiting for the dog to do his business...let alone 4 dogs. Up at 5am to get the doggies taken care of and then to get home in time too shoot the cat!
Looks like Attie missed several meals last night, which is why we placed high carb in his last food chamber. In case he missed the other 3 meals due to stress, there would be a carb and protein bump later.
His numbers look very good this morning. Much better than I anticipated, but we'll see what the day brings today.
Sounds like busy times for you, Beth! Attie's starting off with a respectable number despite the dogs (and the fireworks?). Keep your wits about you and have a fine day!!

No, dogs are at the clients home...not mine. Thank goodness!!!! I don't think I'd be sane if they were here. I had a doggie overnight last night. It really wasn't too bad, but yeah...pet sitting them is OK then I give them back.
Came home and Attie and MudCat greeted me at the door this morning. Something about a creature not jumping up on you or at you and just purring, softly rubbing up against you.... Even Gary greeted once he was let out of his bedroom. Attie had his breffis, then curled up on the settee with me while I had some coffee.
As long as the dogs are well behaved it isn't too bad. This group though has two with separation anxiety issues. Hoping that now that the holiday is over and the fireworks done...things will settle down with them. If not...this is going to be a very long week.
I am booked pretty solid and with these guys showing some SA behavior I need to add visits for them, about every two-three hours.
busy busy busy... good luck! yeah, I know on the dogs... I like them, but well... bring on the cats! bummer with the SA issues. I hope they settle down for you. Come on pups - you can do it!
nice on the greetings from the furkids this morning. Nice too on Attie's amps - wise planning last night. Seems like it worked well for Attie. YAY!!
