Yesterday

Olive vomited up her breakfast. Of course I had already given insulin. Feeders are loaded so hope she will eat.

Vent: apparently when hubby had echocardiogram done (6/25) they wanted to admit him then to expedite all this. He refused. I did not know this. Now heart failure and early renal failure. Now waiting to see how bad it is and if he needs immediate surgery or if they can wait a week to treat and preserve kidneys before addressing the heart issue.

He has already been told he will be staying the night in the hospital.

Oh Paula! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Sending some happy-tummy and appy vines to Olive.....although if her tummy is upset it will hopefully keep her levels up.

Why is it that men seem to think that if they ignore what is wrong it will go away. My DH did it too. Sending lots of vines to your DH and calming vines to you along with some more of these :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:. Please update us when you can.

Vines for Olive that her tummy feels better.

My DH did the same after his accident. I don't need this, I don't need that, I dont......he didn't seem to realize that both of us had to live with the result of his decisions. It makes it very hard. Mega vines for DH and that the needed treatment works.

These are for you. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Paula.. so sorry ! You must not be too happy and so much worried about all this! Hope they can treat but anyway they'll go with the best solution for him!
Two words I can show you in French: "maudits hommes"! They don't seem to realize sometimes what they do!

Sending full of positive vines for your husband and :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: for you!
Let us know how everything is going !!

Hey Paula, I'm so sorry to hear that news about your DH. What is it with men that make them think they're invincible? Vent all you want, I think we're all in the same boat with "supermen" in our lives. Hopefully now he'll let the experts take care of him and do whatever it takes to make him better. Huge hugs to you both. :bighug::bighug:
Ollie, I hope you feel better and eat all the food left for you, your mama has enough to worry about. :bighug:

Hi Paula,
I hope Olive and her puking has abated. Pukus always worries me.

Sorry about your DH. Hope he behaves. Sometimes...men....just wont listen. Similar experience with my DH several years ago. He wouldn’t listen either. Luckily I was on phone with the relief dr who was tons better than his reg doc. Finally two friends and I dragged him to the hospital ER where the relief dr was on duty, got him admitted immediately. Another 24 hours and he would have been in kidney failure all bc of a new combination of different drugs that the specialty hospital put him on were toxic together.

So vent all you want! Sending vines for everyone to be on the mend and for you to get some much needed rest.:bighug:

Apparently Olive figured out the microchip feeder. The food in it was gone when I got home.

I increased to 5.25 units. I will most likely be home until +5 or +6 and then back at PM time. So I think a bit more will be okay. I don't want her to be this high for a week or more.

After her PMPS I found her sleeping on the bed on hubbys side. She has never done that. I think she misses her dad.

I created a post Here where I will update on husband so not to clogg her condo.

Will follow your post for updates ! Hope everything will be OK! :)
Keep posting, we'll be there for you!.. of course no time for knitting !!?? :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh husbands!!! Why do they do these things??? I’m so sorry about your DH Paula. Prayers that his doctors can fix him right up.

Glad Ollie figured out the feeder and ate for you!

Tons of vines for your DH. Olive is sending him special vines in her own way.
Lots of people--not just men!-- don't want to hear bad or unpleasant medical news. I recognize this tendency in myself (and try to avoid doctors!). Hang in there, Paula. It's great that Olive "gets" the new feeder.
