Yesterday 7/3
It was a bit of strange morning for our guy. With those 2 BGs in the 50s, I thought about doing an 18/18 because I didn't want to shoot that low or stall. So I fed him. Then I tested that 124, and went ahead with the shot. We can make up the time ok. I woke up Anne to take over and went for a run. Unfortunately, Anne missed her yoga class taking care of our guy. He seems to be feeling ok, appy is good, did yard patrol.
OT: We just got a downpour! I have to check the rain gauge but it's at least in inch. Woohoo! Our street is flooded and we live at the top of a hill. Tillie was on mouse patrol when a BIG clap of thunder sent her flying inside and under the bed.  I hope the burn area didn't get this because it will be a disaster. It seems like the Forest Service was preparing for this (as much as is possible), closing campgrounds and forest areas so fewer people would be trapped in Oak Creek Canyon in the likely case of flooding. Business owners were understandably upset but it was necessary.
Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. I hope everyone is having a good 4th.
