Zeke's Yesterday
Well, Zeke told us loud and clear this morning that he needed a dosecrease;so, a dosecrease he got. It may be a little less than to a 0.5, but that's what we'll call it. We were never able to get the hang of the calipers so what we are using for consistent dosing is a "ruler" created on the back of a business card. It works pretty well but makes knowing what exactly the dose is virtually impossible. Additionally, we have noticed that the markings on the most recent batches of the UltiCare syringes we've used are considerably differently than the batch we'd used to create the ruler. Back then the dose was way under the 0.5 marking on the syringe but now the mark on the ruler is aligning closer to the 0.5 on the current syringes. Oh well, it really doesn't matter. Regardless of the dose, obviously, Zeke is still in need of the juice.
Thanks Sienne and Marje for your posts on Zeke's condo yesterday. We weren't sure if we just needed to strap on the patience pants and give Zeke more time to heal as opposed to jumping to a dosecrease. The reassurance you provided made it easier to make the call this morning. Hopefully, we'll see better numbers on this dose. Fingers and paws crossed.
