Happy 4th! Everyone,

Rusty has a bit of a bounce after his low numbers yesterday. We will be out for much of the day, so he is instructed to surf safe. After a night of rain, morning drizzle is ending and it promises to be a nice day. Rusty had a good night and a good morning routine (minus the lung treat, which he no longer considers a treat; but his breathing has been ok, so maybe we will take a vacation from Allerplex).

Beans are going to a 4th gathering by canoe ( our friends' camp is boat-access only). We'll be back before PMPS. Wishing you all a Happy, safe 4th of July. Healing vines to all in need.

I hope Rusty surfs safely while you are out. It's good to hear his breathing has been okay without the Allerplex. Maybe a break from it is what he needs and he'll eat it when he needs to in the future. Have a great time with your friends. Happy Independence Day.

That's not a bounce! ;-) Ella, I like the way lev seems to be more gentle than Lantus, with not those violent cliff drops!

We had a fine day. After the heat wave of last week, it was cold and cloudy and windy for most of the day. Edward was the only one who went swimming. The rest of us sat around and ate picnic food.

We got home about an hour before PMPS and Rusty got to go outside then and hunt. Three chipmunks kept him occupied. This evening we all sat on the couch, ate a lite supper, and watched the Mets (they finally won!). We saw some of the village fireworks from the house, but didn't go down to the lake. Rusty was unfazed by the noise.
