Yesterday was a yellow day leading into a nice long blue surf, but now we are back at yellow.

I went to sleep on a rising blue surf and expected worse this morning, but I guess Neko's pancreas did a little work over night. The one up side of having an acrocat is that working pancreas. I'm still using the old cartridge, that overnight blue surf was pretty nice but it's getting touch and go. It's been a few days (well actually nights) since green. I keep saying this, but depending on how the day goes, it's gonna get switched out very soon.

Neko did the flop, show tummy, stretch out and purr for scritches first thing again this morning. Purrs really do start the morning out right. She was out on the deck for her morning "outing", 5 feet from the solarium, when the local young black boy cat showed up. Theo was going absolutely crazy inside the solarium. I don't know if he wanted to play or chase the cat. He sure wanted to get at him. Neko watched the whole thing nonchalantly, until she decided it was time to come back in. Today is cooler with some clouds, and the cats are snoozing in their usual places.

Happy July 4th for those that celebrate it. The car is in the shop for new front tie rods, so I took a walk for lunch. A new smoothie shop has a peanut butter, banana, cocoa and almond milk smoothie which I think I'm becoming addicted to. :lol: I did the walk back home through the woods, sampling salmonberries and huckleberries. I came across an amusing sign for your daily chuckle. With all the poo talk here it is almost relevant.

Blues and yellows, not bad, Neko. Very funny poo sign - :lol: :lol: Yum on the berry picking. Tell Ron that I just discovered how to import recipes from the web in Paprika. I wish that worked with the book that I'm reading.

You are so right, purrs always start the day off right I'm glad everyone sounds well. My car is in the shop today too...for brakes...I hope your bill is as low as I'm hoping mine will be :lol: Have a great day!

Oooh, I'm gonna throw some peanut butter in my next banana, cocoa smoothie. I've been using strawberries this week.

Hi Wendy......yep blues and yellows sound good to me. I've got a pink boy.
Yer a good mamabean to be testing during the nighttime. Greens would be a nice surprise, eh?

Excitement in the solarium, first thing in the morning? Hehehe, how cute.

That smoothie really does sound good. Maybe out local LL barista should consider peanut butter. I so love peanut butter....

YAY for morning purrs! That is one thing I remember fondly about Mannie: always with the morning purrs. We had test thing first off in the morning and he would always purr, throughout the whole process, through breffis and shots. Kinda amusing. all that activity and this constant purrrrrrrrrr.....

Mice job today Neko - not too bad in the BG's!

We have those pesty clouds too. They have dissipated as they day has wore on. We may actually have a decent 4th. YAY! Have a good one!

hmm... if Neko's flopping and purring... sounds like she's not so frantic to eat lately. Always willing but not so desperate....

Just hearing how Neko is in the morning makes me want to bury my face in her.

And back to blues. Car is staying in the shop overnight. Sounds like one of the tie rods is being fractious and they probably started work on it too late in the day. :roll:

@Liz - The guy who does the signs in our district is well known for his funny signs. Along the Seymour Parkway there are pictures of hippos and elephants as part of the Deer Crossing signs, but with funny sayings. One of my fav's is the sign for new plantings "no feet please, we're metric". :lol: I'll let Ron know about the Paprika import. We may be contacting you if he doesn't know already. He was up in the plane today - your visit got him thinking about it.

@Rachel - I got an estimate for the work, but still am a bit worried it's going to be more now. :shock: Scritches to Chyna from us.

@Barb - Banana, cocoa strawberry sounds good too. Fresh strawberries in the back yard - I'm going to have to try it out. I gotta test a bit in the night time, Neko is very unpredictable. As you can see, she can turn it around mid cycle. This morning I was worried Theo was going to damage a pepper plant, he was jumping on anything and everything to get at that cat. :lol:

@Michelle - Looking forward to the new menu. But not on the pizza please! :lol: It takes a bit to get Neko purring (unlike Theo who I just have to look at), so I treasure when I hear it. Still a bit of high clouds, but sun is shining through. Nice, not too hot. Blue skies like Neko.

@Rhiannon - You got it, when Neko's in blues she's not as desperate for food. Always willing, still gotta watch the fingers. :roll:

@Carla - I've been hearing more morning purrs which is great. And blue she is.

@Mariko - The flopping followed an early attempt at meowing loudly for food. I ignored her, but she did the flop once she realized I got the message. :lol:

Well I hope the car of yours is cheaper than mine, it ended up being three times what I expected and for some reason they went ahead and did the work without calling with an estimate :shock: If I'd known that, I'd have told them to keep it and went to buy a new one :lol: Chyna thanks you for the scritches Have a great night!
