More outstanding numbers from Mr. Jenks today. He's been in the lagoon for at least 36 hours now. Amazing.

I've still yet to explain why this only happens when OH goes away. If you have a theory, I'd love to hear it.

@Bobbie And Bubba

I'm so lazy when it comes to updating the spreadsheet. I just filled it in.

OH is Jenks' "Other Human". I don't know when I started using that, and I realize it's not conventional, but it's too late to change now :cat:

What an end to a beautiful AM cycle. Wow. Now these are what Lantus cycles are supposed to look like!

More good news - When Jenks got up to walk over to the test/feed/shoot spot, I noticed that he was carrying his tail higher than yesterday. Today it was out away from his body and pretty much parallel to his spine. In previous days when he would hold it out, it would start to droop at about the midpoint of the tail. Not today. Even more exciting, when I was petting him while prepping the testing stuff, I noticed some sustained tail movement. He was definitely flicking the end of the tail. I also saw a couple brief full tail movements after I had to re-position him for the shot. Fingers & paws crossed!

It sounds like he's operating on the same principle as a car that makes that weird noise constantly UNTIL you take the car to a mechanic, and then it stops doing it.

OH, other human, LOVE IT! It should be a part of the Slang dictionary especially for those with significant others that they aren't married to.

The tail........ what is going on with that? A friend of mine went of vacation and when she returned her cat had a tail that was dragging on the ground. The vet said an injury, like a fall or someone kicking the animal can cause nerve damage and sometimes it affects them in the litter box. Her cat's tail is now mid way up and he can jump up on furniture again. Did Jenks have an injury?
