Happy July 4th, everyone!

Kitty and I celebrating by catching up on our Master LL Spreadsheet backlog. Yay! :-D

So it's time for me to invite LL newbies to provide info. We want ALL Lantus and Levemir kitties included on the master spreadsheet! If you haven't ever checked in with the following info, or if it's been awhile, respond below, and I'll update your info. Here's the link:

FYI, the private info is collected so that you can be reached if someone knowledgeable sees an emergency brewing with your kitty, or if you might be asked to help a newbie nearby. If you want to provide that -- again, entirely voluntary -- send me a private message. Again, private info is kept private.

p.s. Please ignore all the color coding on the spreadsheet. I'm trying to keep myself organized. It means nothing!

Lalaland: I have tried to register and received my confirmation code but it says my account has already been confirmed, but will not allow me into the forum.

Brian and Ann -- Sorry I didn't explain what's meant by a profile! Though the word is the same, it isn't the profile header available in the signature header.

You can write a profile to list on Google docs that describes all the background for your kitty, things like what you feed, when you feed, what meter you use, other medical issues. It's a useful thing to have if someone is trying to help you figure out a a problem.

There is a form that many of us use. You can click on the link in my signature to see it. Here's the link from the Tech Forum on how to do one of your own:

Ann, the contact info is a phone number or email address where you can be reach. In the past, the board has seen a case where someone went to bed when they should have been staying up to test! If someone sees a serious problem brewing with your kitty, they can contact you. The information is kept private; only a handful of experts have access to it.

What else... Brian, you might like to register for the backup board not only for the companionship, but also because it's a place to go if the main FDMB site crashes. That happened more often with the old software, but it's a nice backup plan.
