Late start today. I actually sat down and read the paper this morning instead of sitting at the computer. It was kinda nice, to be honest!! :-D

Champ tried to make me get up early this morning, but I was having none of it!! 6:30 is early enough, thankyouverymuch!! He's actually got up on my lap twice this morning to get a good face scratching (his favorite thing in all the world). He's like his old self, probably because he's been blue and green and that's where he seems to feel the best these days. I'm dreading tonight because the fireworks are going to make him hide which will make it hard for me to test.

In case anyone wants to know....Target has 24-packs of Fancy Feast on sale for $10. I got three!!! :-D

I hope everyone has an awesome Fourth!!!

Hey You!!!! Champ is looking good today...glad you got a chance to read the paper...that is next on my list of what I can cram in before the next cat needs something. :lol: :lol: And then pool.....aaaahhh.... Hope you are in for some rain like we are. Cool on the FF!

I'm glad my neighbors don't shoot off fireworks. I don't know how mine would react to the noise.

Does Champ like the tuna flakes any better than Chex did?

Darn! I was at Target today and didn't even look at their cat food. I'll have to go back tomorrow.

Nice numbers for Champ today! Hope the fireworks aren't too loud tonight!

I second that it's great you got much-deserved"Patty Time" in. Sometimes we all need to step away from the keyboard for just a short while...

Well, Champ is none the worse for wear with me taking some "Patty time." Unfortunately, I just checked his BG for the first time since +6, a space of five hours, and it''s 75. Kinda makes me wonder how low he got to while I was napping on the couch. Yikes!! But like I said, he seems fine so I'm not going to worry about something I don't know about!! :lol: :lol: He's had another really awesome day today so I hope it stays relatively quiet tonight so it can continue!

Barb, Champ LOVES the tuna flakes!!! I even put a video up in his condo of him eating them when they arrived. I'll send you a PM and attach it and some pics I took of him with his head in the box they were sent in. I have to wait for my daughter, though, cuz I need her help getting them attached!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I'm glad Champ likes the tuna, Patty. I'd appreciate the link to the video. I missed the condo. Haven't been able to spend much time here, yet. Is there such a thing as a reclining office chair? :lol:,

Oh goodness!!! You're right, Sienne...this could be interesting!! I'm going to work tonight so I don't have much to do in the morning and can do the BTB if I so choose!!

Good luck with the fireworks tonight - I hope it isn't too bad for Champ. I have a civvie that is very afraid on them. Poor kitties!

Yay! Look at Champ do the green thing! Taking time for yourself is very important because the bean has to be in good physical shape to care for the kitty :-D So happy for you and Champ. I also hope the fireworks don't freak him out too much. Gus hides in the cellar, poor thing.

I don't do +1's very often so thought I'd check it tonight. Hopefully, the +2 will be back down!
