This bg is with some food an hour and a half prior. She kept begging, so I tested early. Also she had something as a treat last night that may have spiked her bg just a bit. All in all though, this is still good on the Alpha Trak, as it reads higher than human meters. I'm doing the dose with barely light touching the first mark.

I'm glad you mentioned how you were measuring. I find that info very helpful - since the tiny amounts are so heard to guesstimate!

I tried another Sophisticat Fish & Shrimp, and Maggie loves it. It's on Janet & Binky's list with 0 carbs, hard to believe there wouldn't be any carbs, but it's very soupy texture looking! So guess who has to visit a pet store again!

I've got to try Sophisticat. The kitties are getting tired of their Fancy Feast flavors. And by "kitties", I mean Kasha. Blue is not terribly picky.

I really liked feeding them Wellness. It really never spiked Kasha's BG, but her appetite isn't so great and FF is far more interesting than the 3 Wellness flavors they can eat.

Kasha was loving the FF beef and chicken - so I bought a case. Now she is sick of it and I didn't even feed it that often! Each meal is one can of FF split between Kasha and Blue... Leftovers sit out and then I open another can of a different flavor. We have "first-run" foods that they will eat more willingly and I'll feed them at meal times. And "second-run" foods that they'll eat if they are hungry - so I leave those out for them. Now Kasha likes FF Chopped Grill. I had to read the ingredients to figure out what exactly is "chopped grill"! Bet if I pick up a case of that she'll be done with it too! It's like she knows...
 
This 117 PMPS is with a little food about an hour ago (sorry, she was so hungry), but I wanted to get one in before I shot, so not bad! Using Alpha Trak.
