I know this is Trixie's condo, but Zen ate, Zen ate!!! Granted it was a small junk food meal, but he ate! When I got up at 4:00am to check on him, he came running over to greet me, so I knew he was starting to feel better. When I got up again at 5:15 for the usual morning routine, he came downstairs with everyone else. He showed a little interest in food for the first time in over a day, and even had a few licks of canned. I tried giving him his usual Orijen kibble - not really interested. Tried a Greenie - not really interested. Then I tried giving him a few of Mario's crap-for-food K/D kibbles, and he crunched away! So I tossed him a few more and he crunced. We did that for a few minutes. I tried to trick him into eating a few of his own "highe quality" kibble, but no go just yet. All I know is I'm relieved he's showing an interested in any kind of food, even if it's junk food. Phew...dodged the vet bullet for today, but will be keeping a very, very close eye on him. Between the higher Sunday rates at the vet, and an important family party today (MIL's 70th birthday!), I didn't know how I was going to manage it...
Oh yeah...and look at Trixie's AMPS
