Good evening all,
Just wanted to say HI and have Shasta's day written down so that when FDMB comes back up, I can transfer all this back to the mothership! She was doing pretty well this morning and when I got home, she was sooooo sweet. Head butts, talking, laying in the Mannie beams, but mostly talking and trying to herd me into the kitchen to fix her dinner! After dinner...totally different story. She has hidden herself in her carrier and after a few brief appearances for food, she won't come out. :-/ Technically, all Ps are present today.
I emailed my vet to ask if they had anything that I could give her to "chill her out" before driving her to the vet's office...sleepy pills, anti-psychotic, cat xanax?! All the while, remembering that she has a heart condition. I really would like blood drawn and a full blood workup done on her. No response from vet, yet.
OT: I have an icky tooth (or two) that just started up last night. The dentist I go to is out this week (of course!) and I start back to work next Wednesday. If this is a root canal thing...I'm gonna be really pissed. Why didn't this happen at the beginning of the summer...when I had all the time in the world to get it taken care of?!
