Evening LL,

yesterday's condo

WCR Sara pretty much finds a place and sticks to it most of the day. I bring her food to her and she eats a little, but that in itself is huge to me. Her #'s are on the high side for her but not bad considering. Today she spent the day in the cellar which is near the LB and I have water down there too for her. I brought a box up tonight so she doesn't have to go down.

I don't really have a DX yet but, with this story I came across on the web Stella and hearing Christie and Willie's story, I am 99.9% sure that pemphigus is what she has. We will look into other long term drugs other than a steroid if possible.

Between the dermatologist and her vet whoever can do the biopsy first gets her. Her own vet also knows of this disease and knows Sara's history.

You guys are amazing. No wonder I love this place. Thanks for all your well wishes for Sara and me. It has been overwhelming, in a good way. :-D

I'll update tomorrow on when her biopsy will be.
Love to you guys. :YMHUG:

I just read Stella's story.
I'm going to pray for miracles, that it's not what Stella had, but something else that is more easily curable.

Thanks Dyana I hope not too. :-| She lost half her hair on one ear and the skin is red and bumpy and raw. Some on her nose too. I did change her food back from friskies to special kitty. That was the only change that I could think of that I had done. Can't wait for a DX so she can start to heal.

Thinking positive.

Hi Jan - I hope for and wish for the best for you guys - for a speedy diagnosis, for Sara to begin healing. I too read stella's story - I hope beyond hope that Sara's condition is not as serious as Stella's. Keep picturing Sara healthy. Mannie and I send loads of hugs, and as many healing vines as we can find.
