7/31 Oreo AMPS 219 +2 102 +5 58 +5.5 63 +6 74 PM 246 +2 235 +3 199

Big drop at onset. I’d try feeding a little less at Amos and give tge rest at +1 to slow him down. Big drops can cause bounces.

Ok I will try that tomorrow. I’ll keep trying to get him to snack. Prob can entice him with some LC seafood and mix some mc.

How much is he eating each cycle? Is it more than he’s been eating before relapse? How’s his weight?

74 now. Going to run some errands
Oreo is really going to make an ass out of me. I can’t say for sure yesterday he got the dog food or not when I left the dogs crate open. It was before +5 and he didn’t shoot up to 300 until later when I did his PM. Wellllllll I went outside came back in within 10 mins he’s he’s reached into the dogs crated pulled the bowl to the side of the crate and began scooping one by one kibble pieces. Not sure how many he got. Carb addiction is real. He definitely hungry before PS. I recall last year we where giving him a snack at +9 will to is be beneficial or would it mess with things?

The +9 snack is suggested when a cat is close to remission as a working pancreas will bring down the bg 3-4 hours after eating. On cycles when you don’t need to feed the curve to keep his bg up you can give a small snack at +9 if you want. He hasn’t been wanting to eat when feeding the curve though. Maybe he was hungry today because his bg was still dropping.
