Yesterday or rather last night, Neko got her greens on.

Lots of purring from Miss Neko this morning. As usual I get a few purrs during/after the acupressure session but later on this morning she was lounging on her memory foam bed and very happy. It hardly took any strokes to get the purr engine going. She does love that bed. She probably wishes I would move it out to the solarium which is where she is now.

Another sunny day here - hard to believe July is almost over. :sad: On the up side, I'll probably be turning some of those blackberries I got into ice cream. Or a pie to go with the newly picked apples.

Vines out to all kitties and beans in need. Extra hugs for Amy and her family, Mariko/Lucy and Melanie/Racci.

I've been looking at the memory foam beds lately and wondering if they are worth their salt? They sound very comfy, yet when I squish at them and such...I'm not sold. But hearing that Neko loves it gets me interested again (mind you this is a cat who befriended an air compressor, I believe it was) :lol: :lol:

Hi Kim! Good to see you. I hope Twice is doing well as with the rest of the fur clan. Yes, Neko does love the air compressor tires. It's mostly hidden away in DH's workshop but when it comes out she does love to rub against it. :lol: I got this bed for Neko. Zener just got a new memory foam bed too (and so did his bean Anne). It seems to be a particular fav of arthritic cats.

How nice on all the purrs. I'm glad Neko likes her bed so much. Nice numbers today. I think she'll be back in the lagoon tonight.

I like to hear that Neko is happy and purry and enjoying her memory foam bed. I wonder if Lovey would like it. My brother owned a mattress shop for about 10 years. He likes his memory foam bed.

Nice to see Neko wearing her greens. I love pies. I only made a fresh apple once or twice. Sounds good.

Nice numbers for Neko lately. But what's with the starting green and heading into blue?Should be the other way around! Turn around, Neko!!!

I think about getting a memory foam bed or two for my kitties, but then they decide to best place to lay is on the cold, hard floor. Minka's favorite spot is in the middle of Mark's desk, which is littered with various objects like small tools, pens, note pads, paper clips, etc. Of course, part of the appeal is that there are plenty of items that can be pushed onto the floor! :lol:

Keep up the purring, Neko. Nothing warms a bean's heart like a purring cat.

I bought China an expensive bed once...she loved the box it came in...LOL

Sounds like a beautiful day, Wendy. I can taste those Blackberries. We are just getting to see roadside raspberries. They are delicious, too.

Good Girl Neko!!! :mrgreen: Wow you didn't get a lot of sleep last night did you? :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I don't know what you did with her dose but she's back in the green dress as expected! Today would have been a perfect day for blackberry ice cream or cobbler or whatever!! I have to wait until the Farmer's Market Saturday or Sunday... :roll: Oh and regarding that memory foam bed, I got one for myself because I have a bad back, it isn't just for aging kitties! :lol:

Neko was feeling quite playful before dinner. Playing with her nip toys and showing off her tummy for rubs. I think she feels best in those low blues.

@Carla, Catherine, Tricia, Chris, Ella, Ruth - Thanks for stopping in. It's funny some of you think "wrong way" when you see the +6 136. Neko is on Levemir and has a late onset, so I think "not bad, should see green later". :lol: She most often goes up after PS until sometime after +5, so if she isn't that high at +6 she hasn't zoomed up much. And her nadir is most often between +9 and +12. I was happy Neko likes her memory foam bed. It's a little higher off the ground so I think that makes it more attractive too. I once bought a previous arthritic kitty a heated bed. He used it maybe two times. :roll: Now it's out in the solarium and Neko really likes it, but I no longer plug it in so could have bought the cheaper version.
