Morning! Moonie didnt eat much last night overnight, and this am wouldnt eat her reg flavors..
Opened a can of FF chicken feast, and she started to eat it, & I kept giving her bits in the plate--Must have been too much because she threw it up :cry: :cry:
So now I have different flavors all in her plates..Swear this cat will kill me!
I just cant seem to find food that she will eat whole heartedly...Tried Wysong last night ($1.78 can) 95% chicken, but No Go!! I will keep trying..I have to go out this afternoon to buy jewelry, so I guess I will worry most of the day!!!
Hope she eats later, I am so worried about my baby.

Moonie that is a lovely AMPS but eat your fuds and stop worrying your bean!

In the midst of our diabeasties fight my boss joked that Vyktor was going to outlive me the way I was going - at the time I thought there was a fair chance he might be right :lol:

Lovely amps this AM Moonie, but you be a good girl and eat your fuds! Your mama worries about you. I will send good eating vines for Moonie. The numbers are wonderful, and can so understand the worry...

She is sleeping right now--LB action good, she gave herself a good bath today, but not eating yet--
She does eat less in lower numbers, but she rarely throws up--Guess it was too much food at one time ohmygod_smile ..Hope she surfs soon! Thanks for nyou good wishes

(((Roni and Moonie))) I'm sorry to read that Moonie isn't eating as readily as you'd like. I was looking for your profile but couldn't find it - am I just being dense? The reason I was looking for it was that I'm not up on Moonie's overall diet history etc., and I was wondering whether you'd ever tried her on a raw home-made diet?

Otherwise, the only tricky I can think of are the usual ones... Warming the fuds. Sprinkling with parmesan. And so on... Thinking of you!

Hi guys .. it sounds like moonie is feeling well, with bathing and napping so perhaps it's just these lower numbers causing her not to eat much .. I know, it's still a worry to us when we see them "off", no matter the reason! Sending good eating thoughts her way .. have a great day!

It does sound like Moonie is feeling good overall, but I do know what a worry it is when they just won't eat as much as we want them to! My guys tend to eat less in the summer months. I do see you updated her subject like to say she ate - that's awesome!! Now, keep up the eating, Miss Moonie!

Now she dropped & I fed her 5 temptations & 3 tsp. MC..Hoping she will go up, before I have to leave in a few hrs ohmygod_smile --Good thing she has an early nadir +4.5-+5, so I may be a little late...
She is eating, just not when I want!!!! Bless your hearts for caring!! Hugs & Love to my dear LL always there for each other!

She hasnt eaten yet, bt I am not pushing her to eat..Letting her do it when she wants..Or else she will drive me mad :shock: :shock: :shock: Had a good day buying, have about 8 shows coming up next 2 months, so needed stock.
Waiting for Miss Moon to decide to have a bite!! Paws & fingers crossed......

Nothing drives beans crazier faster than iffy appy. :shock: Paws crossed Moonie gets on the appy horse soon!

Hi Roni, sorry this has not been a good day for Moonie with her appy. It is a worry when they won't eat. If I remember correctly, Moonie does not like the baby food, right! Mags loves the Gerber chicken & gravy bg, stage 2, but it can cuase a rise which would be okay for Moonie. If she's bathing, it's a good sign. Good luck with your pt for your back. My shoulder pt went well. Hugs and love to you and Moonie and scritches.

Well Roni, to share with you my experience with my cats when they are eating less than their regular portion.
First thing I would suspect is hairball since this is the easiest to handle. I'll feed them hairball remedy but for Rosy I added tsp of oilve oil into her meal for a day or two. This will cause loose poo & the hair will be passed out.
I'll try to keep the room cool with the aircon because like human, they eat less when it is hot.
I'll try to increase their activity by playing with them, a bit of catnip for them to relax also helps.
Opening different flavor of canned food to see if they eat. Want to make sure that they are just bored by their usual food, nothing health related.
Check on their dental by either opening their mouth to have a quick look for any swollen & reddness gum, throat area. On the outside,touch on the both side of mouth to see if they avoid your touching.
Usually I will give a day or two to observe (if they are eating, just eating less). Are they drinking water?
Because my cats are all indoor only & I had practically cat proofed my home. There is nothing they will eat & cause blockage.
When everything failed to bring back their appy, I'll take them to the vet.
Just my two cents. Hope it helps. Dont worry too much as long as Moonie is eating.
Send the natural kitty appy stimulant vines to Moonie!

After Helen's excellent list i have nothing to add except to send lots of eat fuds vines. Tomorrow is te full moon party, sothat may perk up her appetite.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!! Did pretty much check all those things--Moonie gets olive oil 2 drops in her food everyday & almost never has hairballs(antijinx)
Tonite, she was a different cat!! Played with her cat fishing pole, ate a bit on her own, gave herself a big bath, and was affectionate...She is now all puffed up in the window must be a cat or other animal outside!!
Just hope she doesnt jump down & hurt hreself.she does do that sometimes!!!--Jumps down while having an adrenaline rush from an alien cat or bird!!
Let's keep this nice calmness going to tomorrow, OK Moonie?? No more not eating--OK????

I hope Moonie eats for you tomorrow. I hate when they do that. That's enough to drive one crazy. I don't know if you tried this but tuna water poured over it helps me sometimes.
