Say goodbye to July! Say hello to month 8/August of Luci being on the insuiln up/down dance...o_O

It's been better lately seeing her in better (green) numbers more often - but she was there in April as well...I'm hoping August will be an even better month for her - and she'll spend even more time in those healing green numbers!:D

Sending healing vines and hugs to all the kittehs in L&L land!:bighug:
:bighug:

@carfurby, @Bobbie And Bubba ,@Olive & Paula - I am so thankful that she's healthy and happy! Even though it does seem as if it's dragging...for me...it's made such a difference in her. The insulin is saving her life:joyful::joyful:...I know it...but she doesn't. She was tearing around the house today with that wild look on her face when I came in from an appointment. I tested her and fed her and off she went - like a firecracker! I don't know if she was jumping for joy that I was home - but she sure was acting perky!:D:D Maybe she just feels so much better when SHE'S IN THE LAGOON!!! I was so happy to see those numbers!:joyful::joyful: DH was in charge while I was out and of course he's too 'chill' about testing:(...I'm a helicopter mama...and he says 'well, I'm having a hard time getting blood from her ears - must be she's getting too much testing and scarring' - HUH? I said, you want to scar her ears or let her die!:mad: Mama wasn't feeling very generous about his lackluster testing approach...test, test, and test some more when she's under 100!

Luci is rocking this insulin - and well I guess if she has to be on it for the rest of her life, then so be it. I will never forget what that vet said to us last November...I'd like to...but I've made a choice to keep my little Luci around for a whole lot longer!! Diabetes and all...:D:D

Bella must have heard Luci was there, he’s heading back down:oops:
Thank goodness!:D I see your at your 8th cycle of 1.5 - are you thinking of another increase? I was just wondering...I have a hard time trying to figure out when to increase her - the decreases are obvious because of the 'going too low' rules - but when to increase? I just never know...it would be good to have a 'rule' on that too....:cat:

No increase yet, had greens 2 days ago and I’m almost certain there was today because of that pink

If I don’t see a green in 3 cycles I increase

I do wish Luci would get those curves of her flattened out a bit...Lantus is supposed to help her do that:facepalm:...she's not paying attention to the primer of how Lantus works:mad:...low rolling curve Luci..not pink starts/ends :(
