Good morning,
Pretty flat overnight. I think she’s breaking her bounce from the Monday night overnight green and blue cycle. I expect action today.
I’m working but will be home and of course monitor closely :facepalm:

Still exhausted from no sleep Monday night but what can you do :banghead::coffee::coffee::coffee:

When I get up at 5:30 am I’m noticing it’s still dark, so we are heading back to shorter days already :(

Ivy enjoyed a day of pancake yesterday - but it really wasn't a bad bounce - and looks like she's ready to get to an action!
Hope she surfs safely and lets you enjoy the day!
Can you believe that July is all gone, and tomorrow comes August?
Time is flying by! Before we know it, it'll be Christmas :p

Hi Kit, I agree, she had a pancake day after her all night action packed excitement of Mom’s all night service and catering ;)

Just hoping it’s gentle today and that we would give up the extreme sports:banghead:

Hard to believe we are heading out of Sumner already. Crazy how fast it goes. (But for me the winter drags on so long. I don’t enjoy the cold and the dark seasons in the Northeast).

Well I hope our girls have a gentle :cool::D day and I hope you have a happy day, Kit :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
Ivy’s getting busy breaking her flat pancake day yesterday.
At +2 she’s at 48 on Libre. Feeding 12.5% snacks to try to slow her drop but once she’s on a mission to go lower the higher carbs just slow her for a little bit and will be needed continuously throughout the cycle to try to hold her a little steady instead of complete deep dive :rolleyes:

I noticed the same thing about the wake up time, it's depressing especially since the weather is still so hot and humid....UNFAIR!
I see Ms Ivy has a mission today, that lime is scary- hope she comes back up and settles in to the dark green zone for you.

Hi Christine, I know, I’m not ready for cooler temps yet. I’m enjoying the warm weather.

The lime Ivy saw was on the Libre (so not as scary than if on a handheld device). The lies on that Libre (for Ivy) tends to read lower than a handheld meter.
It actually means she’s where I want her, around 100 or so.

I hope you and the gang are all well and your AC is working well in your house these days.

Hi Carla, she’s doing well today (since these are Libre numbers, she’s actually ok, since her Libre reads lower than a handheld meter).
I just have to feed her snacks to keep her coasting along. Better in the day than at night!!

Well, Ivy has been coasting in a nice cycle all day. Just hit a Lo reading on the Libre. Tested her and 85 on the Contour meter.
She’s working this dose day 3. Just hope she doesn’t bounce to Mars later to then plummet later or tomorrow. These cycles, jeezzzz :banghead:

I’ve been using the lancet lately and poking the back of her ear with that spring loaded punch. (I’ve always just done free hand poking and it wasn’t working great lately.):banghead:

The only thing I don’t like is I really can’t see where it’s gonna poke her (her ears are dark on back). So I can’t aim real well. I like to try for close to the edge of the ear.
But it does give a nice bead of blood, which I can then test much more easily.

Same. There's a bit of time in the winter where it's sometimes dark when I go to work and dark when I leave. No likey.

Ivy seems like she's up to shenanigans tonight. I hope you're able to get some sleep.

I dislike that whole dark thing as well. Not fun for many months. Feels like we live in darkness. Yuck.
Yes, Ivy has been low all day long. (They are actually good green numbers).
And I shot a low PMPS, so she’s staying low tonight. For once no bounce to Mars. Yet.

But yes, I’ll be on the sofa tonight again. :coffee::coffee::coffee:
She’s really angry with me and all the ear pokes today.

She needs a nail trim but I decided not a good idea today. Way too much handling. I’d get bitten and scratched for sure. Not worth the fight today. o_O

Hi Diane, thanks for checking on us. Yep, we’re up together. My girl on the couch with me. She’s climbing on my pillow and giving me cuddles. It’s good she’s sweet in the middle of the night.

That's a HUGE difference- lime in the Libre would be 100 for a handheld--holy cow! Glad you have that figured out, I'd be in a panic. AC working well- especially for the electric company...LOL! thanks!
