Ugh, back to the AM stinky pinkys. Appy is good but only because I gave a slightly larger crumb of cypro. Today is steam clean the dining room day. Kitties will love that. cat(2)_steam

I have the small stuff moved out. Now I need to vacuum and get Anne's help with the big things, like Versailles (the kitty condo). How long does the night bean get to sleep this morning? :evil:

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Jamie and Jupiter, Donna's Doogle, Ann's Maggie, Bern's Tashie. Also thinking of Kathie, grieving Zeus and Smokey. Paws crossed for OTJ trials, I can hardly keep up. Have a great Tuesday, LL!

Ugh on the carpet cleaning. i want bamboo floor when we finally break down and redo things! Wall to wall used to be considered a luxury flooring, I want to get back to area rugs!

I'm sure night bean won't be sleeping much longer once you get that vacuum fired up :lol: Sorry Z-man was pink, but it looks like he's had enough of that. Now he just needs to stay on the lower floors. Hope you get to find something fun to do with your day, too!

Hi, it looks like Zener is on his way to a nice slide. Sending appy vines. It must going around, as Mags had an iffy appy, too! Good luck with the steam cleaning. Yes, a lot going on lately. It's nice you summarize it in your condo.

The steam cleaning is over and the kitties survived. In fact, they are enjoying the rearranged living and dining room with new places to hide and explore. :shock:

Zener is managing to slide the right direction despite all the noise and discombobulation of "his stuff". He seems to be feeling a bit better today, so hopefully, things in general will be on the upswing. We stopped his miralax for 24 hours after his diarrhea episode a few days ago, and now he seems to be a little constipated, so we will try to get poo back to his normal by upping the miralax.

@Ann & Tess - ugh on the cleaning is right. Liz did all the work and it looks great. Even Zener approved! :-D I'm with you on wood floors and area rugs.

@Tara & Buster - MamaLizBean woke me up very nicely before firing up the noise makers. :YMHUG: He is slowly going down the slide and maybe blue is in his future?

@Ann & Maggie - we are sure glad to see some better numbers. Thanks for the appy vines! :-D

We've decided to skip the fluids until the vetty visit next week. He doesn't seem dehydrated as our weather has been cool and wet. And we have his blood work recheck next week. He has been peeing a lot more than usual the past few days and it could be his higher BG numbers or his kidneys, so we'll get that all checked out next week. If his values are at the point where fluids are indicated, then we know what to do, thanks to Marje's video! :razz:

Hey Z Man, were you listening? You're supposed to be sliding down!

How nice it must be to have clean carpets and no clutter! Back at the turn of the 20th century in the brownstone neighborhoods of NYC wall-to-wall carpeting was considered much more elegant than wood parquet floors. So when row houses were being built the purchasers had their choice of wall to wall (more expensive and prestigious) or parquet floors. The flooring under the wall to wall was just planks! So those beautiful parquet floors that are sought after today were put in because they were cheaper than wall-to-wall!!

Ok, Zener, let's turn back around.

I'm glad he's feeling better today, and the steam cleaning is over with, without incident! My kitties love it when we rearrange furniture...new nooks and crannies abound!
