After several out-of-character yellow numbers yesterday (just to keep her bean guessing), Trix finally touched the edge of the lagoon with a 99 at +4 last night. Today, she's just teasing me by being oh-so-close.

I have spoiled her...although it is hard to NOT spoil them. Anyway, we have reached the point where she'll take a few laps of fuds, then look at me expectantly with those big, round Puss-N-Boots eyes..."Where is my dried salmon sprinkling? Don't you love me anymore, Mama?" I take one little treat, break it up and sprinkle it over the food, and we have a happy Trixie and our CPC.

I'm off today. Added to the list of usuals...trying to finish up painting the master bath. We have literally been renovating it for 7 years now. We are do-it-yourselfers, who have totally run out of steam in the middle of a major project. The scope of the project runs well beyond the master bath, but at least the end is in sight for the bathroom. I truly never thought I'd see the day!

Good morning Amy! What a good girl Trixie is. You wouldn't want to trade her for Bob, would you? Kidding, of course. I love my boo, he can't help he's challenged. Haha!

Morning Amy, I knew Trixie would get back to her pretty numbers soon. They like to keep us guessing. So funny with the dried salmon treats. I found some dried shrimp Mags loves. It does get them eating the fuds or at least the top part for Mags. :lol: Enjoy your day off and good luck with renovating the master bathroom.

WOOT!! What a nice start for Trixie. I so do believe that the +3.5 is more green than it is blue. It's nice to see her coming back down. :-D

Oh too fun on the dried sprinkles. She's got you now/ :-D oh well, all good in my book: whatever it takes to get them to eat when they need to. freeze dried is such a life saver. Mannie loved the salmon too.

YAY on the bathroom! We are do-it-yourselfers too. I can so relate on those big projects. we redid the basement once: right down to the walls and wiring etc. what a project. It feels so great when one can see the end to it all, or even just a portion. congrats on the bathroom portion being almost done.

Nice day for Trixie! Soooooo sweet with the salmon sprinkles. I can't just see her big eyes looking at you. It is impossible not to spoil her.

I gave Trix a pokey break today, since that +3.5 was nice, and it was so close to my usual final test of +4. I'd like to see some lower numbers, but this PS is good for tonight, since DH and I are taking his mother out to dinner for her birthday. Hopefully, though, we'll get back to hanging in the lagoon soon.

She has turned it around, but such a non-Trixie couple of days here. She seems fine...I think she's just playing her "I can do it 'cause I'm a cat!" card. And I'm getting ready to counter that with the "I can raise your juice!" card!!!
