Good Friday Morning, Everyone,

Woke up to the sound of vomit. Mr. Cat is OK, but maybe a bit under the weather. This seems like a low-energy day (temps in the upper 40s this A.M., so that might be a factor). In any event, he's had 2 installments of breakfast and been outside briefly (mostly just sitting). I think yesterday's bg excitement and all those ear pokes wore him out. At the moment he's lounging on the camp chair on my porch and my DH went back to bed. I guess I'll have to start scraping on the front steps by myself!! (We decided not to go on the canoe trip today so that we could take advantage of the good weather for the painting project.). I shot a skinny 1 unit this morning, just to see what would happen. AMPS isn't too high. If Stu nosedives again today, we'll go down to .75 (I still can't believe these numbers: the vet had him on 7 units bid last November!!!).
Everyone have a good start to the weekend, and we hope that all the kitties are feeling good and will have good numbers today.

7u's!! Wow! And look at him now.... Amazing! and why is it that the DH's always get to go BTB??? What is up with that? It is the same here.... Good luck with the steps - bet you will be elated when you are done. It is like my yard overall - you will see me dancing in the streets when I am finished.... And good luck with the dose!

Awww, sorry you don't feel so good, Stu. Take Mannie up on his offer of chicken soup. We know you're a great cook, but a guy shouldn't have to make his own soup when he's sick.

Ella, canoeing would definately be more fun, but you'll be happy when all that scraping/staining is done. And your DH will be nice and rested. :lol:

awww, hope Stu's belly feels better today. Looks like he's doing a little surfing in the yellow today...maybe a good day to take a break from ear pokes!

I hope Stu is feeling better soon. 40's?? Wow - that's cold for July. I hope you enjoy your day even if you don't get on the water.

Brrrr, 40s!! You need a sweater for that kind of weather. I hope the scraping goes well and that DH comes out to help you. ;-) 7u, that's unbelievable how far Stu has come. Great job, Ella. :-D

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I'll come with Mannie to bring you some soup, ok? We won't stay long to bother you, just long enough to say hi and maybe sprinkle some catnip on the soup (like a garnish!).

Hi again, everyone,
Stu is feeling fine again, surfing yellow and high blue. I think he was just tired from yesterday. In any event, he's getting ready for Six's OTJ party tonight. Six requested "wild" food, so the menu is on the wild side. The kitchen crew will be busy! I'm not sure how much of the food they intend to catch themselves!! Back now to the steps. DH is working on them too, and we got the whole thing scraped, sanded, washed down, and will be ready to paint tomorrow. All I have to do this afternoon is some caulking (and we have to mow the grass, too). See you all later when I get to visit some condos!!

Glad to hear that Stu is feeling better now! Wow, 7 units, that's a really high dose, what a difference from then to now! I bet you'll be glad to get the steps done, it's so satisfying to get those projects done, isn't it?

I don't even have anything to say about Stu's numbers, I got stuck on the fact that it was in the 40's there today! We're in the middle of an Excessive Heat Warning, which from what I gather means that it will never be cool again. :roll:
 
I'm glad that Stu feels better tonight and that he;s up to go partying. Tori is getting her party dress on right now too. She said she doesn't want to miss it. Hope the migraine goes away fast. Get a good rest.
 
Sounds like Stu feels better and you feel worse. I hope the migraine passes and Stu keeps surfing in these good numbers. (Has the vet that put Stu on 7.0u seen his SS lately?)
