PMPS 165 +1=137, +3=87, +6=99, +9=89

20cc Core 5% post AMPS and at +1, +3 and +4. Gave 5cc of Core and 10cc of 0% Tiki at +9.5.
20cc Core 5% post PMPS and at +1, +3 and +4. Gave 5cc of Core and 10cc of 0% Tiki at +9.25.




Yesterday's Values:
AMPS 105, +1=89, +1.5=104,+3.25=71, +6=90, 10.75=166
PMPS 106, +2=123, +4=95, +6=73, +7.25=69

Holding at 0.10 units.

Not even close to the green, little cat man. What's going on here?

Hi Hellen!

sometimes giving one teaspoon of regular low carb food at +9, both am and pm cycle if you can stand it, is enough to stimulate the pancreas in a cat that is healing. The pancreas puts out a bit of insulin and three hours later at amps/pmps, the BGs have been brought down.

You might try that when you can and see if it helps bring down the highest numbers. it's an option, anyway.

+9 snack, eh? Why the heck not... It's not like I'm getting a whole lot of sleep these days anyway. LOL

i figured you were awake anyway! :lol:

it doesn't work in a cat that's not healing enough to be ready for it yet, but when a kitty is getting close to an OTJ trial, it can really really make a difference. fingers crossed for a green amps for shadow tomorrow morning!

I'm with Julie on checking if Shadows pancreas are producing any insulin.

Looks like Shadow really likes the number 90! :lol:

Good luck with the +9...Hopefully it'll help bring those pre-shot numbers down a little!

All in all, Shadow is doing really well!
