PMPS: 105

Good morning!
Sending vines to all in need today, and a big "Welcome!" to the newbies to this dance :YMHUG: .

Ripley is doing great today. Same kitty as usual. She drank some tub water this morning, then threw it up. Not sure what happened there. But she's acting just fine ~ good appy, headbutts, and may have just eaten some of Marley's kibble. ohmygod_smile

I thought I'd be seeing lower numbers consistently by now. She's being treated for a UTI, and threw out some 50s over the weekend. Now she's back to being in the flat 90s/100s. Still AMAZING numbers, but those lower numbers teased me.

Yesterday her vet called with her culture and sensitivity result: the current AB is a good choice for her (Zeniquin). He wants her to take it 5-6 weeks.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!!

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O)

I love Ripley's numbers. They are wodnerful: low blues, nice great greens. It is so nice too that she tolerates the AB well, with little or no side effects. We had such issues with it all whenever Mannie had a UTI. Ripley - stay out of the kibble! ;-)

Enjoy your day today - I hope it is a good one.

Re: 7/30 Ripley AMPS 110

Hi Josie. Nice AMPS for Ripley. Sounds like she taking a cue from another kitty that loves tub water, I believe it's Checkers. Glad she is feeling better and that the vet confirmed she is on the correct AB.

Have a great day.

Re: 7/30 Ripley AMPS 110

I hope the AB clears up the UTI. That's good to know she's on the right AB. I hope the kibble didn't make her go too high.

Re: 7/30 Ripley AMPS 110

Darn that kibble!! But her #'s are still great  Really glad the AB is working for her and she gets feeling better every day. Have a great night guys ;-)

Thanks you for visiting, Michelle, John, Carla and Pam :-D !

I was bragging yesterday about how I haven't given Ripley any Pepcid in a while ~ she hasn't seemed to need it. But I forgot to "anti-jinx" my comment, and lo and behold, she was feeling 'punk' this morning and even vomited some white foam before this morning's t/s/f. She got her Pepcid treat this afternoon ~ adding it back into her routine will be tricky because I don't want it to interfere with her phosphorous binder, antibiotic, or probiotic. I may try to give the Pepcid treat when I get home from work (at +9ish), then again at her midnight nadir test (at +6-ish). She had a good appy tonight, but she has a sad look on her face and isn't as perky and squawky as usual. I hope the Pepcid helps her out. It may or may not help out with her flatness (in demeanor AND in bgs).

Poor Ripley, I'm sorry she's not feeling quite herself, but she still gives you some pretty numbers. I hope the Pepcid will help.

Hope you have a good night Josie (and family). Hugs,

Kathie

Aw, I hope the pepcid helps. I didn't know it could cause so much interference with the other meds. Still very nice numbers...feel better tonight, sweet Ripley!!

Feel better Ripley! Good tummy vines coming her way~

Hope she is looking happier and talking more by tomorrow, Josie.

Great numbers BTW :-D
