I hope the increase will bring Minnie down out of those yellows she's been in a lot. Is she still eating the whole earth farms food? You don't happen to know what the phosphorus is on that food, do you? Is Minnie going for a checkup next week - 45 minutes is quite a drive for a vet. Is it the IM vet? Or your regular vet?

We just broke through into blues! Weather is hot again so their appetites are a bit off. She is eating the whole earth farms right now (she's on/off with the tiny tiger!) and petco had the turkey in stock so I had a case delivered. She likes the beef so that is my current go-to for MC. They're not huge fans of the chicken. My biggest complaint is how much sticks to the lid, interferes with my recycling! According to the Lisa Pierson s/s, Whole Earth Farms:
  • Duck Pate: protein 28%, fat 68%, carb 4%, phosphorus 130mg/100kcal
  • Turkey Pate: protein 38%, fat 57%, carb 5%, phosphorus 246mg/100kcal
  • Chicken Pate: protein 39%, fat 51%, carb 10%, phosphorus 182mg/100kcal
  • Beef Pate: protein 40%, fat 48%, carb 12%, phosphorus 265mg/100kcal
Appt is with the IM, follow up to check her potassium and kidney values. Frustratingly, the kit from WSU was delivered today to our regular vet so now she'll have 2 separate blood draws. I'm tempted to ask about picking up the kit on the way to the IM and have them do it, but I'm afraid the logistics are too complicated. I'll think about it.

Oh and thanks for the food info!
