Blue, once again as far as the eye can see.... We did have a dip into the greens last night. This cycle was almost a duplicate of the night before... the night before when he went green I fed a 7% and still had a 20 point drop on the next test. Last night I got a 15 point rise... never assume what worked one day will work the next. :lol: I find it interesting too that now Mannie responds more to the 7% fuds than he used to. I fed that in the morning with the 121, as Nicholas and I would be gone for most of the morning. We came home to a high blue. Maybe I need to rethink carbs a little, just try the regular 4%... and experiment for a day when I am home.... nice job yesterday Mannie -YAY! LUBS ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

The kitty choir failed me this morning... overslept 30 minutes, again.... :roll: :o :shock: Sheshhhhhh.... Lead singer BJ was at the top of the stairs, singing her tale of woe... what happened to the in the face bellows and claws on the arm, the wet nose on my face? Huh???? :shock: The other two, Elsa and Mannie, were waiting, silently by their bowls. Of course once I made the kitchen there were endless protests! :? "It was not my fault", I gently reminded them, "you guys failed in your duties..." They did not care, and the complaints continued... I could not serve fast enough... :roll: :roll: strangely enough we had no whacking this morning... They must have been too focused on their starving tummies... :lol: :lol: This morning was the first time in ages that I have had trouble with a pokie :shock: three times it took before that itsy bitsy tiny drop made an appearance... Mannie was not happy :evil: : hissed :o he did... Poor guy... all had been forgiven though, pokie for +1.5 went off without an issue, and the purrs have returned. :razz: :cool: :cool: All is once again well in MannieLand: full bellies, sun has risen, napping in progress: full body spread over the nanners. Life is good. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am off later this morning to see the new Harry Potter with my eldest DS. Looking forward to that - YAY!!

My friends!!!! What a great day yesterday! KTSS for Rocket, and Willie's bean... a picnic.... and a midnite pool party at Gracie's. SWEET! What shall we do today? Maybe a kitty hike somewhere, or some mountain hang gliding, or maybe some fishing, or sailing was such fun - maybe that? I dunno! Help! I can't decide... See you guys!! ~~ Mannie

What beautiful pictures. That first one should be blown up and framed. It made me feel 5 degrees cooler just looking at it.

I overslept this morning, too. It's a Saturday thing, for me. Maybe my cats know it's a Saturday and let me once a week.

Mannie is just proving he is a CAT and will do what he wants. I agree on the carbs. I had to be very careful with Tuffy she reacted to carbs.

Pictures are great. Love the smile on Nicholas. He certainly is an outdoor boy. Wait till he is mobile. LOL

What the heck happened to the kitty choir this morning?!?! I guess it is Caturday and maybe they were kinda tired as well. Poooey on the pokies, i guess it does happen every once in awhile tho.

Hi Michelle, sorry I missed your post last night; I conked out early! Not even Maggie with her mouse pole toy could wake me! What beautiful pictures of the waterfall and creek on your hike. Nicholas is such a cutie, and we can tell how much he loves your times together. I have trouble with Maggie's ear first thing in the morning also, and it sometimes takes three or four pokes. She jerks away from me. It's amazing how quickly they forgive and forget! What, no kitty choir this morning! Enjoy your movie time with DS, how fun! It's a move I plan on seeing soon. I'll be interested in your thoughts on it.

Hey Mannie yesterday was nice with the KTSS visiting Rocket and Willie's Bean and the picnic and pool party. I think some fishing and then a cookout would be one fun thing. Let's see what the others suggest. Gracie's pool is always lots of fun, too. See ya soon after everyone is rounded up, Maggie

Hi Dyana - thanks for the visit! Thanks on the photos - it was really a very nice place. And YES on the temps - with all that water and the falls is was nice and cool there. I wish I could send some of that cool to all those that are so hot today... oooooo what I would give to be allowed to oversleep some... sometimes I think I need to change Mannie's shoot time so that it's not the first thing I do.... :roll:

Morning Barbara - I am so glad to see that you are back online after all that has gone on there is sunny HOT FL. Glad that all is back in order, even if it did take three weeks... :shock: -- and thanks on the carbs - I think Mannie has reached the point where the higher carb stuff is now too much... It's been a while since I have even had to use a true HC when he is low., Good, I think! -- isn't that DGS smile awesome? One very happy little boy. Mobility is just around the corner: up on all fours now, we are waiting for him to put it all together. LOL, and omg!

Hi Tracy - Thanks on the photos! Awesome place, it was hard to take a bad one... :lol: Most of the places I visit are within an hours drive, up by the mountain passes, all are very easy, for the most part, to get to. Lucky! -- I dunno on the kitty choir!!! :shock: :shock: They must have known it was Caturday?? weird as BJ is in a constant state of thinking she needs food, the little hoover, she just doesn't miss a chance to make sure I know it's time to eat... the morning pokies for me are the worst - just the first one,... guess I am just not awake enough. :lol: :lol: and thanks on potter - YES!

Hi Ann, and Miss Maggie - no problem on the post - it was a very late one, even for me.... and thank on the photos. DGS had a great time - it was a great choice to a hike for him. I was happy to see that I could get him down to the creeks edge - much more to experience then. :-D -- and yes on the pokie - the very first one...i am still trying to wake up, it can be a challenge. Poor Mannie!, but he does take it all in stride. -- I will try and remember to let you know on potter - should I forget, let me know!

Hi Beth - I like these cycles he's been having - you are right: nothing wrong with the blues. he's been so consistent, and that is really niche to see. Hi Roni - thanks - he really is alot of fun. He has such a good time when we go on these little hikes. He is especially fond of the water ones. -- and well... we were blue sliding, but it seems he found a detour to the yellows. Well maybe he'll get back on track tonight. paws crossed!

Hi Marje - i so agree on the flat stuff - we have a few bumps today, but over all - what a great thing that is. We shall see what he decides to go with all this flatness - for a while the cycles were getting to be a lower flat line each day, but we seem to have bypassed that. It would be so nice to see him find the greens on his own, without the added juice. well - will give it a few days, as Mannie seems to like to take his time, and see what he does with it. -- thanks on the photos! and yes - his smile is a genuine one. love it when it spreads from ear to ear. -- and thanks - had a great time with the kid, liked the movie, but I am a potter fan, anything along that type of genre. love sci-fi, etc...

Hi Ann- i like the clues... he did well for a bit, but seems to have moved him to the yellow floor for a bit... silly boy! I Hope that Tess doesn't follow.... i know on the posting thing - happens to me all the time... oh well, and it's OK - no worries here! Thanks on the pics! It is nice that DGS likes something that I do - makes it so easy to find things to do with him, short of the normal toy play etc... we spend alot of time outdoors. SWEET!

I'm having trouble figuring out carbs with Champ lately, too. He's not reacting to the different percentages like he used to. Nothing like keeping us on our toes!!!

Sorry to be mia today. Got discouraged at my fur shot this morning (didn't find out about it until +9) and then I thought I gave another one this evening, but maybe I didn't. spent the evening watching an old, classic movie on TV.

Hi Ella - Thank on the photos -it was a good one for both of us. I don't get much out of them in terms of miles hiked, but it is so worth it in so many other ways. He's loving this, and it just doesn't matter that we only get in a few miles, that it takes twice as long to do anything. That pic of him says it all. :-D :cool: No worries in teh MIA - I have been too - I just could never get to condos!! no clue where my day went... bothersome, but I hope all will understand. And don't be discouraged - i can remember days when I couldn't get blood, sometimes it took 6 tries, and this was after having done this for so long... it will be ok - you'll figure it out. I think we have all been there in one form or another.

Hi Ann - YAY!! GREEN!!! I like the 80's... I hope he stays there... OK Mannie? this really works for your tired ole bean....

87 @ +6.5, i did not feed this. DH will feed Mannie a small tsp 4% at +7.5. He should be fine until morning. I am soooooooooo tired, and am off to bed. See you all in the morning!
