Yesterday - No lagoon :(

I'm hoping today Luci will decide to go back to the lagoon...there I was thinking everything was just peachy...and she wanted no part of going back to the lagoon for Day 4 (in a row)...oh well...gotta give her a chance...maybe she just needed to rest???:confused:

I would but I think she's making a run for 'it'...look at that 2+ drop!! 142 points...:eek::eek::eek::eek: this girl is always in a hurry...I'm checking her again in 30 minutes to see if I need to get out the carbos...don't want to steer her away from the lagoon if she's actually headed there...crazy cat!:banghead:

Tell Bella 'hey' when you get home...hope he's being a good boy today! :D At least he's already wearing his blue swim suit :) Luci has hers on now...hope she'll slow down long enough to grab him by the paw...maybe between the two of them they can stay away from da sharks!:rolleyes:

Yes, unfortunately she came and went from the lagoon in only a couple of hours:(...I wish she could have stuck around a bit longer ... this is when I would start wondering about fattening her dose:confused:...but I'll leave well enough alone for a couple of days...let's see if she continues to visit for at least a little while each day...:D
 
Luci's a bit high right now = PMPS of 299...and she sure doesn't like it when I stick her with that insulin syringe around her back or sides...she seems to react more when I do that. She never had much to say about the scruff...any tips on how to get her not to react to the syringe/shot? Poor baby...I hate hurting her :(
 
Maybe the lantus is cold and she feels it more on her side and back. Have you tried warming it up before you give her the shot? You can roll the sryinge in your fingers to warm it up.
