Hi Ya All Lantus Land,
Well the horrible humidity finally broke and we're out of that subtropical heat! Still it is 87F today, but man what difference without it being also 87% humidity!
Attie continues to chug along in the numbers arena. We've been doing a lot of the NV beef lately as that is his preference. He will eat the rabbit if he is hand fed, but ah...I'm not always around to do that.
We shot that 50 this evening with a 0.25 reduction. He seems to have hung below the 65 mark all day even with getting mini-meals all day.
As far as the basement flooding issue goes I attended the town council meeting. They are trying to see if they can get grants from the county and state to assist with the worst hit homes. Some homes are already making people sick and are unlivable even after cleaning things up. It is really weird. One person has come down with an unidentified bacterial infection and nearly died last weekend. They sent them home on an IV drip, but still don't know what the buggyboo is. The board of health is coming to inspect their home.
They said it was a 500 year disaster event. 5 inches of rain in less than 2 hours.
