Good morning/afternoon LL. All is well in Zener's domain and he seems to be back on his slide. Liz had her hands full this morning cleaning up from overnight pukus pandemonious. Seems both kitties decided on a grass cleanse. Both kitties seem fine now. Poo patrol has the day off, deposits in the LB. Where's the fun in that?
Zener is enjoying his morning outside in his cabana in the cool shade and has slid down from last night's bounce to cool numbers already.
And I am watching the mama Northern Flicker feeding suet from one of our feeders to her two very hungry and demanding BIG babies! I was wondering why I needed to put a new suet cake in that feeder every morning, now I know! I tried to get a picture, but no such luck.

We broke our streak of 67 moisture-less days yesterday with 0.01inch of rain at our official weather recording station, 70 would have been the all time longest period with no moisture. It wasn't enough to get anything wet, so the favorite spots to do big business in our dusty backyard are still up to Zener's standards. We are bone dry, but rain is on the way. And because of our extreme fire danger, no fireworks of any sort. I am sure animals and their beans all over town are grateful!
Wishing everyone sunny weather if you are gray and damp, and cool breezes if you are in the heat wave. Happy Tuesday LL.
