7/3 Wonton AMBG=46 +.5=65 PMBG=86 OTJ Trial Day 6

So Wonton surprised me this morning with a 46!! Almost didn't get this number as she was fighting me, but glad I finally was able to get the reading. I fed her LC food and she went up to 65. Had to leave for work but left her 3 small meals for the day. Wondering if I should try and go home at lunchtime for a reading or do you think she'll surf the greens today.

Happy Day 6! I'm sure that 46 was a surprise...but with no insulin on board, you don't have to worry about her going hypo. However, it may be interesting to see where she's at at lunchtime!

I don't think I can make it home at lunchtime...should I worry about her going lower than 46? Amy says since she's not taking insulin she should not go hypo.

That's amazing with a 46 and no insulin. Did you check it a second time? I'm sure she's okay if you can't make it home as she's not on any insulin.

I thought as long as she is not on insulin she can't hypo??? Is 46 with no insulin necessary to give HC? I would be afraid that it would bring the high BG#'s back.
