Bounced last night after a fast drop during the am cycle yesterday. I am so disappointed because she has only just come down from a long 6 cycle bounce. I haven't been testing quite as much during the drops, as I was before, as she did seem to have been dropping slower, but I think I will have to go back to testing more often in the first 5 hours. Nothing is straight forward with this horrible disease.

I don't want to complain, as there are so many of you in far worse positions than I am and I don't know how a lot of you manage day after day. It has taken over my life for the past 20 months and I am so tired of it all.. I have tried to move back from it a bit and do more. I was trying to test Sheba less and now she is bouncing badly again. It is all very disheartening.

Bron, I know exactly how you feel. I can't figure out how to not have it take over my life either. I started feeding Max mc food if it looked like he might go down too fast and that seemed to help even him out. It might prevent her from hitting green for a bit but maybe help level her out. You have likely already tried that though. :bighug:
 
I completely understand how you feel Bron. Just when you think you are getting somewhere then "The Bounce" happens and the numbers are totally messed up. Same thing happened with my Tuxie. It is so frustrating and disheartening. BUT...it will get better. You have done a wonderful job with Sheba over time and this is just a glitch in the road. I think you need some rest and lots of chocolate. Time for you to give yourself a bit of TLC. :bighug: :bighug:

Thanks Carla............most days it is fine......just some days it gets to me. I am sure it is the same for everyone. It is good to talk to people who understand for sure........most people just think we are crazy to do it.

I have done more than my fair share of venting and melting down here. This is the safest place to do it and one of the few places that everyone understands!!
