Good morning!
Ripley is doing great today :-D .

She finally slept by my side last night after taking a 2-week break. It was so nice to have her back.
(We keep the A/C wall unit on in our bedroom at night, so perhaps she realized it was the coolest room in the house.)

Funny/strange thing: I always set my alarm for a midnight/nadir test; there have only been a few times I haven't done a +6 test in the night. Last night, however, my alarm went off, and I remember thinking that's strange ~ why would my alarm be going off in the middle of the night? So I turned it off. No test. It didn't even occur to me to test Ripley. ohmygod_smile :lol: :lol:

Her numbers seem to be creeping up very slowly; but I'm going to keep her on the current dose for the next few days (to make things easier for DH, since I'll be gone tomorrow through Sunday). When I get back, I'll reevaluate her numbers and perhaps add a drop...
I'm not sure what kind of cell reception I'll get while I'm away, so there may be few or no condos from me (I'll see if I can get DH to post...) But Ripley's SS will be updated each day. In case I'm not able to make any visits, I want to wish you all a very nice 4th of July holiday! Be safe, and keep your furkiddos safe!

Wow, what a nice even cycle(s) Ripley has been having. consistent! Good luck to DH while you are away. I bet he does just fine. Ripley, you be good and surf well for your beans.

Too funny on the alarm. I've done that too. Sometimes the sleep mode just wins out. How nice too that Ripley has returned to bed sleeping. Mannie never would, Elsa does every night and the two new ones are anywhere. ;-) Good job Ripley - us beans love those bed sleeps.

Good Morning Guys! Glad Ripley came back to sleep with ya :-D We really miss them when they decide to go somewhere else for awhile :sad: Hoot does that too. Right now he is sleeping with me again :-D I have yet to get the DH to test Hoot. He will give a shot, but he hasn't had the excitement of the test yet :lol: It is on our list of things the DH has to learn ;-) Ripleys #'s are looking great :mrgreen: Have a great 4th and be safe :YMPEACE:

Hi, Michelle :-D I'm so pleased with Ripley's consistency lately, I hope she keeps it up while I'm gone. I'm sure DH will do just fine. I hope it'll be even easier to take care of Ripples than he realizes. Too funny on our kitties and their sleeping-place patterns. :-D

Hi, Pam :-D I hope your DH will be ok with testing ~ it's so nice having someone there to help out. I do about 99% of the cat care-taking, but when my DH steps in for that 1%, it's very nice. :-D

Just got home from work and Trader Joe's and now it's time for massive house cool-down. My poor furkiddos.

I'm finishing up with packing, and my furkids are acting worried. They'll be happy when they find out that DH will still be here, that we aren't abandoning them.
Ripley is following me from room to room, and resting in odd places ~ kind of in the middle of things. She knows something's up. Breaks my heart. I explained to her that I'll only be gone for 3 sleeps, and that Will is going to take really good care of her. She gave me a half-blink. (happy and sad sigh)
 
Have a great trip Josie! What a pretty green & blue SS for Ripley - DH should be just fine. Happy 4th of July :-D
