Well, back to a little more mellow yellow today. I'll take it!

Saw the vet today who has mostly been active in Polly's care, an intern at the local clinic. He's really curious about Miss P's anomalies. Unlike the vet Tuesday who said, "stomatitis, Dr. N doesn't think so.

Later tonight (unless I decide to play with friends!) I'll add bloodwork results to a new tab on Polly's spreadsheet. The Spec fPL isn't in yet. Only the low magnesium, low potassium, high calcium and high RBC seem out of place considering her glucose levels. She's not HyperT.

Saturday she has an appointment at Best Friends (the animal sanctuary where I work; state of the art clinic, four experienced vets). At least I'll find out something about her mouth.

One step at a time. Please Miss P, let's stay out of the pinks tonight. K?

i suspect that whatever is going on with her mouth is the key to her being fairly unresponsive to the insulin dose increases. but we'll just hang in there and dose according to her numbers. let us know what you find out on Saturday. i'm glad you've got another vet for an opinion.

good news that her thyroid is normal. woot!
