Yesterday's Condo

Gizmo isn't feeling very well. He has the runs and it was his turn to wake me up with the sounds of a cat throwing up. (I actually thought it was Gabby and threw her off the bed. She was rather insulted and kept staring at me until I figured out it wasn't her.) I still have the meds from the last time he went through a bout of this so he got a dose of Cerenia and metronidazole. He's not wanting breakfast so we'll see how he's doing this evening.

Gabby has forgiven me. In fact, she forgave me right after her first breakfast when we had some cuddle time.

I wasn't sure whether Gizmo would be fine when I got home or if I'd be calling the vet. He's back to his usual rambuncutous self. He met me at the door and was all purrs. He let me know that he was hungry -- he refused all food this morning. He's eaten the first 2 installments of dinner (with FortiFlora) like he hadn't eaten in a week. Paws crossed that this was a a tummy bug (and Gabby doesn't get it) or he ate something that didn't agree with him.

I'm so glad Gizmo is feeling better this evening...it's always so worrisome when something pops up out of the blue. Fingers and paws crossed that whatever it was has completely passed.
