Hi LL! Happy 4th of July Weekend!
Thought I'd stop by with a short Eddie update. He remains happily OTJ since his official OTJ party on May 22.
We have been testing weekly since the end of his trial and he has been below 100 every test. He even snuck a 49 in there one day. DH got the 49 at lunch time one day and instinctively grabbed for some medium carb, but thankfully remembered that there's no need for higher carb since Eddie's OTJ. Overall, Eddie's numbers are even better now than during his trial, so it looks like his little pancreas is doing its job!
Whole cat-wise, Eddie's doing great! The only down side is that Eddie has decided that he's not getting nearly enough attention without shots and pokies all the time. We've maintained the feeding routine of 8-10 small meals per day, and Eddie starts demanding attention about 15 minutes before every meal, just so we don't forget.
He loves the new house and enjoys sunning himself in the bay window, racing around sliding on the hardwood floors, running up and down the stairs, demanding all the pets, and watching chipmunks in the back yard. It's very good.

DH and I are at the lake this weekend without cats. Our lovely vet-tech/pet-sitter is taking care of the fur kids making sure they get all of their mini-meals. This is the first time in over a year that we have traveled together without Eddie.
Have a great day everyone!!!
