Happy Fursday LL!

Finally home from pain clinic day...I will be SO happy when they replace this 20ml pump with a 40ml one! Means I'll only have to go get it refilled every 6 weeks instead of every 3!

China was her usual good kitty today! Nice blue numbers so mama didn't have to worry! cat_pet_icon

Now if we can just stop this nonsense at night! Hear me China?

Hope everyone is ready for the excitement tomorrow night! I love fireworks, but my critters don't, so I stay inside with the shades drawn and try to keep them content until it's all over with.

Congratulations to Amy, Mark and Trixie on going OTJ after 3 years! Stories like that give me hope for China!!

Oh the dreaded fireworks tomorrow night! I have one kitty that is absolutely terrified and a dog that is going to bark all night long. Peyton could care less :) It is supposed to be against the law to shoot them within city limits but everyone does it anyway. Hopefully my neighborhood will go out and enjoy someone else's!
Glad you could get out today and not have to worry about China. She's looking good in blue :)

China puked about 30 minutes before PMPS, and has puked up all her dinner (5 pukes in an hour) so I'm going to run over to DM's apartment and grab her bottle of Ondansetron

How much should I give her? She's about 14lbs

our dose is 1 mg... ( I have 8mg tablets and I'm supposed to give 1/8)
I usually can't break it that small so she gets more.....

Oh, poor China :cry: . I hope that the ondansetron will help her feel better. I'm glad she gave you no worrying numbers for the day, anyways. Many feel better vines being sent to her, and you! Have a good night, Chris :razz:

Well I can't say I'm surprised at the quick dive since there was no food on board after she was done puking.

She hasn't had any more episodes, so I haven't given her the Ondansetron yet, but she has been able to hold down a little food.

The pills are the kind you put under your tongue and they're only 4 mg, so I'm not sure if it's OK to use them like "normal" pills though. I somehow seriously doubt if I'm going to get China to hold it under her tongue until it dissolves!

It's been a long day with my 6 hour drive to/from pain clinic today, and I was hoping to have a quiet night, but I guess I'll be spending the night testing to make sure she stays safe instead.

Oh well....maybe I'll get some sleep next month....LOL

Thanks for the vines! They seem to be working, so keep sending them!
 
Oh dear, I'm so sorry that China is not feeling well tonight. Her numbers today are the opposite of Cinco - he hit the lagoon this afternoon and seems to be surfing blue tonight. Strangely enough, he has had some tummy issues, too. Not throwing up, but eating a bite or two, then walking away smacking his lips. I gave him some pepcid this afternoon and he was better tonight. I hope China got her bug out of her system and recovers quickly. Sorry about the lost sleep, Chris.

I hope China is better. I would think it's ok to give her 1 mg of the pills you have even if they are sublingual and you give them normally.
