Gah. Having to switch meters couldn't have come at a worse time. The 224 on the Advocate could be as low as the 140s on the Relion. I don't want these "higher" numbers to get out of control, though, so I have upped his dose to 0.5u because I'll be around all weekend to monitor. I might have given a fur shot this morning, but am not sure. We'll see how things go!

1st breffis eaten with gusto, then he supervised as the bean got to work at 6:30 :shock: on a project that needed to go out. Project completed, and now we're enjoying some btb cuddles before I head to tbp. He really is such a sweet boy. :-D

Good luck with the dose. Is there a market on ebay for Advocate strips if you prefer the other meter?

Ugh... maybe this will be better when I get home, but thinking probable fur shot. :(

Normally, I could sell the strips on ebay, but with the expiration date so close, they won't command much. I actually got them on ebay for an average of $0.15/strip.

Good luck on the new dose and I hope no fur shot this morning. Although as a reason for seeing higher BGs it is better than other causes. He'll turn right back around.

On the brighter side: you gave more juice = probably lower numbers = more testing = using those *#@*^# strips up faster. :lol: :lol:

Good luck with the dose--It needs 6 cycles to really take effect, so put on your patience pants~!!

Meh. Hopefully, we'll be down from here soon. The bean is not feeling well... I think I have some sort of stomach bug. :sad: :sad: Thank goodness the weekend is here.

Hi Christie, it's hard to get used to numbers with the Advocate registering higher, so when you go back to your other meter you'll be more comfortable with his numbers. Is the Advocate close to what the Atrak registers? I think fur shots must be going around, as I did one with Maggie for the pm shot. Willie will get back to better numbers. Good luck with the new dose.
 
:shock: I can't get used to these numbers for Willie - they are so un-Willie.... Bummer on the fur shot.. I can't remember that last time Willie was pink. Good luck with the dosecrease - I agree, you don't want the higher stuff to get out of control. Good luck! He'll get back on track soon.

Oh man....fur shot and you not feeling well? I hope the dosecrease helps him get back into his normal Willie numbers.
