Reduced Sister to 1 drop Lantus twice daily Tuesday evening, 7/27.
Yesterday's BG was: AMPS 106, +6 103, PMPS 109, +3 96.
So mostly staying in the blues and not seeing the greens that were in her curve.
I am getting up at 4:00 am to feed her a snack (to prevent a high AMPS).
Is the strategy to keep Sister at 1 drop for 7 days, allowing her body to adjust (I presume that means giving her pancreas a chance to take up the slack, compensating for less insulin)?
I understand what I am doing, just not always why.
