Where is my summer going?!?! :cry:

WCR: We have most of the Ps, so far. Pee, poop (although it was small), play, not much preening and no purrs, yet. I haven't gotten many nighttime snuggles lately...just little bits right when we get into bed. Good lord, I am struggling to keep her numbers up this morning. Must start backing her dose down a little for the sake of work starting up NEXT WEEK. :cry: I know that isn't the way of TRP, but I will not have the luxury of coming home to check on her in the middle of the day...so, for her safety and my sanity, time to come back down some. :-|

Wishing everyone a good Monday. Sending more healing vines to Doogle (yay on being home!) and Jupiter. Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

I so agree! Where has summer gone! Almost August already. Wow, you are back to work next week? Major bummer. Shasta's numbers look great. I can see you are working hard to keep numbers up. It sounds like a good plan to ease up on the dose some when you return to work. Safety first I think when one cannot make it home to check on them. Wishing you much luck.

Shasta numbers look great,yes summer almost gone we don't get much here at the coast this time I haven't had to much change to get out since Lucky had so many lows but look at today yeah OTJ trail thanks for stopping by...

It looks like Shasta is keeping you on your toes today. Backing off on the dose sounds like a good idea if you won't be able to come home and check on her. I know how that goes. I wish I could come home at lunch and check on Furball.

Hi Michelle, Linda & Carla ~ thanks for checking in on us today. I had a chiropractor appointment today, followed by a few errands. Shasta seemed to be doing well...silly as she played with her paper bag (and by played...I mean shred!). She's eating well...mostly. She's really enjoying her new flavor - FF Chunky Turkey.

So, here is my issue with my dear cat...she came and sat up on my lap (I put my laptop aside and she seized the opportunity). I was rubbing her face and her cheeks; she curled up in her little ball form and I stroked her side; before I knew it, she had gone all feral cat on me! :shock: :shock: I got her to release her claws and teeth from my hand and we had a little come to Jesus meeting. No abuse...just really intense talking nose to nose as I cradle her in my arms and won't let go. Her breath stank (not too long before that, she had been cleaning her bum), but I decided to check her gums. I know they're supposed to be pink, but hers are much more grey-ish. I sent a picture to my vet a while ago because there was a weird gum bump thing on her tooth and he didn't seem concerned about that nor the color. Anyone have thoughts on this? Suggestions? Advice? (I'll repost this in tomorrow's condo because it is so late right now.)

Update (w/i past 5 minutes), got her +5.5 and afterwards, she laid down on my lap and let me pet/stroke her all over. Jekyl/Hyde :roll:

haha...thanks Mariko! I actually had a friend take it while I held her mouth open!!! Had my friend not been here that night...I'm not sure what I would have done...used my feet?! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
