WCR: I think most Ps are in place?! Got some snuggles last night, but not this morning. Appy is...well...the tile guys are here, so it's so-so, but not bad. She's pretty pissed that there are people in her house, making lots of noise, and dredging up that god-awful smell. But for a cat that's pissed, she came out of hiding and is now laying in the living room on her window bed. However, they just started up the shop vac and it has awaken the evil Shasta eye! :evil: Should be an interesting day or two...goodness, I hope it doesn't take longer than that! <anti-jinx> Uh-oh...now she's mad at me. She just left me a prezzie in the LB, but it had a dangler attached. First, she got half the dangler off in the LB by scootin' her hiney in the litter. Then she jumped out and landed on the towel in an immediate "sit position". She looked up at me in a "I have to get it off...stop judging!" I picked her up before she could scoot onto the carpet (the majority of it stayed on the towel, but there was a little smudged on her tail). Needless to say, the cold, wet paper towel on her bum and tail were not appreciated. :-x
Marje, thanks for reassuring me about the bubbles in the sub-q line. Liz had said the same thing the other night. I just got freaked out because it was more like a giant air gap!!! :shock: :razz: As for the bathroom reno...you can read below and hear my excitement over the whole ordeal... :roll: :lol:
OT: The workers are here to tear out my existing shower and re-tile because the seal around the shower drain had gone bad and water was getting in under the shower pan, sitting there and rotting. This has been going on for 1 1/2 years and the smell is so over-powering that I can easily smell it out in the living room right now. :shock: My family described it as rotten eggs, but I think rotten eggs smell better than this smell. Two years ago, my landlady had the back wall of the bathroom tiled because the acrylic panel was bowing really bad (all 5 panels bow, but she only had the one wall replaced). I didn't particularly care for the tile that was chosen...the brown is a shade darker, but the flash from the camera makes it look lighter. I painted my bathroom a very soft turqoisey blue and the poop brown tiles look...well...poopy. :sad:
