Marvin gave me a nice 95 this morning, have to get used to not poking him. Trying to give him 4-6 small meals a day with no insulin. Let see how he does, paws crossed.
It was so long ago, I didn't want to poke my baby and I didn't understand why I had to. I was stubborn took be a long time to poke regularly. Now I just want to poke my baby so I know he is ok, d'oh..... I know just a few more hours.... FDMB got me addicted to poking
Marvin is at 122 this PM, he is eating his dinner. Should I check in 3 hours, or let him be until tomorrow?
I think he reacts to food pretty quickly, so + 8.5 was where I feed him, maybe I should have done it at 9.5. Usually when I test him 2 hours after he eats he is in the greens.
Check again in 3 hours to see if he has come down. As a rule, if blue at preshot, test again in 3 to see if he has brought it down. It's not uncommon in the first few days off of insulin to see the odd blue.
